I never seen anyone disappointed with B2 gear.
This is the first B2 piece I’ve tried and it seems solid

reasons I don't like it:
- IRS2093M Driver very susceptible to cracking solder joints from heat/cool cycles in automotive use. The pads are tiny and the chip gets very hot. In winter it can do from -5C to 70C cycles daily and the lead free solder just crumbles. Quick fix to reflow but most customers wont/cant do this.
- IRS2092S drivers are in WAY too low of a deadtime mode for the output fets that are used, this causes the fets for ch5+6 to run really hot at idle due to cross conduction. Customer here in the UK had his going into thermal protect regularly as a result. I put it into DT4 which is the highest mode with no perceivable difference in sound quality and it now runs cool.
Other than that, it seems fine for a high power small footprint class D full range :)

I just came back to this. Saw three months ago. Only thing I don't like about mine is it gets a little warm. I don't trust it. But I haven't had a issue with it yet. Been through 3 seasons.
@@knockout_wj8886 if you feel confident you can fix the heat issue by removing a couple resistors around the 2093m and 2092 drivers, which will increase dead time and prevent cross conduction.
HIFI MAN THAT WAS MY OLD AMP I THINK, SENT IT DOWN TO A FELLA IN TEXAS, that amp was a beast in the pilot kept up with the 6 12S on a 6k. I miss that bad boy....
Small and mighty! I still have one in my wife’s car running a Karma Allure 2 way (active) with a Sundown SD4 bringing in the lows. I have better equipment, but I have zero complaints about this amp. Does everything I ask it to.

When i see B2 Audio, generally i think of "is this the best (insert audio play things) that noone can afford"? 😂 I looked at their subs when i saw Meade use them in a beautiful acrylic enclosure, Rage XLs i believe, outta my budget😂
This is why I try to cover a lot of budget gear for the folks on a budget, but I do like to mix in some of more expensive gear when I get my hands on it.
That's a tiniest little B2 I've ever seen😊 cute.... That's one hell of a power supply for that amp

This is a great amp. I just rewired mine for channels, five and six to power the front, three ways and channels 123 and four to power the rear doors on the rear deck. Very versatile amp, and great power.
Yeah, this amp is gone ...its not bad at all and i love the stagger channels. Its perfectly for a SQ set up like you mentioned.. i wouldnt hesitate to run B2

I like B2 Audio's slogan: It can never B2 Loud! Holy shit, the B2 15 inch XTC subwoofer weighs 120 lbs. with a 5 inch voice coil, and goes down to 10HZ. If that won't satisfy you bass lovers nuthin' will!
I have one in the Jeep running a set of B2 Reference 3 ways in my Jeep. I like it.

pretty cool but I don't need that kind of power for my SQ. I still think I'll use my A/D/S PH15 6X50 for that and save some money in the process. Still works flawlessly 32+ years later.😉

I have 2 different questions,
1. Any suggestion for 2 channel or 4 channel Class AB amplifier with 40 watts or less per channel for SQ application on tweeters.
2. What's your take on B2 Audio MANI 600.4 / Emphaser EA-MT4 / Audiofrog A150.4 for powering tweeters and how does these stack against a SQ class AB amp.

Thanks. For 1. I would suggest a Kicker key if you don’t already have any processing. If you do as far as more reasonably priced I’d consider the Audiocontrol mini’s. As far as question #2 I haven’t gotten a chance to play with either of those amps yet unfortunately

B2 do good things just dont get recognized because they are a over seas company denmark. Competition is tough when your not a big company and trying to get into America market with politics n wanting to oversea profits. Thevaudio word like many business is harsh and ppl well black ball or hender any thing good quality just as good or better. Which effect profits
But b2 has a huge presence here just like sundown and DC

It's a nice but check out the Ct sounds at150.6 before say this is best amp the Ct sounds amp is so good I have 3 of them
The Ct sounds makes it's power at 13.2v it's 250x6 at 2 ohms
CT is Chinese cookie cutter and very bad quality. It's literally the same as or worse than skar
@@balisongsnbeats.9219 I hate when get in the comments and don't have a clue of what talking about Ct sounds AT Amps and team amps are great and make over rated power you have plenty of big name people in car audio have tested and run them that say they are great amps plus there are a lot of brands that have Chinese boards like sundown but it's still a good amp
Not the type to run class D on mid and tweeters...as a midbass amp better suited. But 6 channels is weird for 3 way front stage..this definitely built for the masses and not for audiophiles.
That doesn't make much sense. This is a perfect amp for a 3 way front stage. 6.5s on the staggered bigger channels, mid and tweeter on the lighter channels with plenty of headroom
@balisongsnbeats.9219 if you just want to get loud and don't care about floor noise. Class d on tweeters mostly exhibit noise due to the sensitive nature of the driver and the noise of the power supply. Unless the filtering is done properly you'll likely hear noise. Unless these amps are tested for this exact purpose it's like rolling a dice for a consumer. Never said it won't work, just won't be ideal if that class d powersupply leakes into the output section of the board.

Hate the name but H Yanka speakers don't sound half bad at all.
nothing more then a copy, of a copy, of a copy, of a copy, lol I mean its painted white and not black like any of a 1/2 dozon brands that just order from the same place the change the silk screen name on the board and paint the heat sink different color. I do like there speakers but again they all use the same parts more less just a sundown ,dd,dc there just all copys of copys any more again I'm not downing b2 I like there stuff but for the premium price I want something that looks different not like a sh*t skar marine amplifier and many others an is why I went with audiocontrol instead for my 3 amps for my newest system.. thanks for sharing
