Angela comes from Mexican singing royalty basically. Her grandmother and grandfather were HUGE. Her dad is HUGE and her uncles, brother, cousins all sing. Mexican pride! 🇲🇽

Absolutely!!!! Angela's Llorona is a young woman who hasn't had her heart broken too many times. She hasn't seen much yet. Natalia's? Ooohhh she done seen some shit for sure. Adult life of a woman... oof. The pains, hurts and struggles and bravery. Now Aida? Ah she understands life now. She has lived some and has that mature outlook, she is wise and I absolutely love the storytelling and how they did it 🥵🥵🥵😍😍😍

Aida Cuevas is a legend! The QUEEN of Mariachi. Look up some of her performances in her prime, you will be blown away by the power in her voice and her stage presence. "Huapango Torero" is my favorite but you will also enjoy "El Pastor" one of the most difficult songs to perform in Mariachi music

That almost yodel effect you mentioned is known in Mexico as "falsete" and it's relatively common in mexican folkloric music, you should listen to El pastor, Miguel Aceves Mejia.... the absolute king of mexican falsete.

You have a great ear. A lot of the vocalist type reactors typically do, but they also usually have very little emotive analysis ability. They basically hear the notes, pitch, etc extremely well without connecting to the bigger picture the way many people can. You're one of the few who picks up on the micro and macro in spades if that makes sense, keep it up.

Great reaction, three distinct performers, yet they sang so beautiful together! Aida Quevas killed it, love her!! Also Lila Downs live versions, very different and moving but than so are most of her versions, of Paloma Negra, Me Fallaste, La LLorona , and Cucurrucucu Paloma .
The way they sing from soft to loud is exactly how the song is made to be sung. It’s a massively long song to sing. So much singers pick two/three paragraphs and from the song they like and sing that. It’s long.

No mira, si estás en compu o laptop, lo que vas a hacer es que le picas en subtitulos, le picas a los que dicen inglés, y te va a quitar de esa pestañita, luego la vuelves a abrir, y te va a aparecer la opción de traducir automáticamente, le picas y listo
