The ridiculousness of this entire situation is too funny. Helen being an attorney (and a VERY good one), just gives up at Quinn’s lazy sidetracking attempt and just lets her go. Chances are she just made this to solidify that last point to Daria “don’t smart mouth me and quit talking back!” 😂😂😂😂

I don't know why, but I laugh at the fact that Rule 2 reads: "No Pimple Pads in the Toilet."

Why is Daria always hated on? But Quinn gets all The Love and Attention, That's NOT how a family works, My Family LOVES me EQUALLY, Now THAT is a TRUE family.

Is your family an animated cartoon?

It's a liberal "family" where everyone thinks only on themselves. At least Daria has brain.

Why are the husbands always dumb in every single cartoon ever?

It was a change from the loud and in charge sitcom dads of old, then they became dumb and never stopped being dumb. And Jake isn't "dumb", he's just left out of most of the parental decision making and often doesn't know what's going on--but he's also a tad flighty

Dexter's Dad from the Cartoon Network series was pretty smart, if a little inattentive. But come the Post Genndy seasons and Dexter's Dad went full r*tard!

The purposefully point this out in the show Jake just plays dumb because a part of him is intimidated by his more successful wife and he feels guilty for feeling intimidated by that

I also think he tends to strongly over-correct himself to be the antithesis of his mad-dog father. I feel like Jake has a lot up there he's still unpacking, even in his mid-forties.
He's not unintelligent, though. Though small, he is operating his own business.

The first rule is an abolition of the First Amendment. The irony even extends to the average parent, although some are decent in this regard.

A liberal lawer typical behavior: "I am the law and the judge"
