i think for su 30 mki nd tejas, we should buy russian R 37 M missile, which hv 250-350 km range. it already destroyed two su 27 from 200+ km range in ukraine - russia war. nd beneficial for destroying enemy AWACS, oil tanker, jamming aircraft etc from 300+ km range. some will say our astra 3 (SFDR) will give 300 km range...but if its like meteor than expect 150-200 km range or 250 km range for big aircraft. so we dont hv long range R37 M equilant BVR missile. our tejas mark 1/1a nd su 30 mki will be second line defense, which will be guarding near border. we need long range BVR missile, so we dont need to send su 30 nd tejas in enemy air space in "limited war scenario".

1. Su57 uses Su35 engine. Till that is sorted it won’t be a worth investment.
