Hey Jochem. What to say as I am speechless on this couple of your last music performance in last two years. I lost some track on partying and on techno in recent years as been working a-lot around Europe travelling working in wind industry. But your music masterpiece reminded me on all good memories back in the day when your production and GOD-like Live act. Since first time in beginning of 2000 in Rijeka I had out of body experience listening your Live and so on in upcoming years. Every time was night to remember like I will never forget Es ist Freitag Abend anniversary. It was 5th with you live, Murphy, Phil Kieran, Steve Rachmad and Chris Liebing. Every once a while i remember my self how you rip the dance floor every time just like I again want to jump in YT and be there….
You were Always and still you are my true music hero and I could listen this Chirurgie style of ripping dance floors on endless repeat. I bow to you Maestro Jochem Paap el magnifico ❤❤❤

Cant compare this one with stuff like pan pot, fitzpatrick, beyer, capriati and so on!
Sometimes I have the feeling, that these guys just do their thing without any love for details on the technical way. Especially when I think about this bullshit pioneer sampler in front of them.
Dont get me wrong, I am sure that they are good dj's for 100%, but I also think playing 50 festivals a summer makes tired and lazy.
Jochem, Chris Liebing, Dave Clarke and others put much more love in their taste of music and keep their red line.
All these Drumcode guys just play what they use to / new drumcode releases / and so on.
Jochem is really refreshing altough he's dealing with techno 30 years +
