...and when the crowd actually danced (rather than swayed) and would go off on big drops. Techno these days is really one dimensional. This is not a criticism of Speedy J (I have many of his 12")

No. This is in the Sloterpark in Amsterdam. A park around the lake Sloterplas. A couple of miles away from the trainstation Sloterdijk. Another festival at this place is The Mystic Gardens festival.

He doesn't play tracks, he has loop from Traktor(bass/hats) and he plays live from the synt
No this is not true.
He is playing tracks and stems, there are always some tracks running while the stems are looped + his Analog Rhythm is for additional stuff like his risers or drums on top he adds@@lorenzomaffei8097
@@lorenzomaffei8097 Of course he plays tracks, he uses the hardware for synth sounds and hats, kicks etc to add to the tracks he is playing. There's even a list of ten tracks in the description that youtube has picked up on. 😉
