    Gday Felix. Just stumbled across your channel this weekend and in a word BRILLIANT!
    I had no idea of the things you could do with a SAK.
    I’ve just spent nearly 2 hours watching your video’s and liked them all. Great to see someone with such enthusiasm enjoying what they do.
    I’m sure you’ve been told many times.....but Victorinox should be paying you a small fortune!
    Great work and thanks👍🏼

    the video came in the right moment,a friend of mine ask about driil options.check a 6mm wrench nuts,fit in the screwdriver as adaptor and with the bit drill(this one that you use in the 130mm sak).

    The Master of the SAK gets an automatic thumbs up before I watch the video .
    Thanks again Felix .
    How about using the SAK tweezers to open handcuffs . Not used to pick the lock - Used as a "shim" between the "teeth" which lock the handcuffs .

    • @FelixImmler
      @FelixImmler  4 года назад +3

      Thanks a lot for your comment my friend. Sorry i don't unterstand your question with the Handcuffs exactly.

    • @QuantumMechanic_88
      @QuantumMechanic_88 4 года назад +4

      Sorry I didn't make myself more clear . Take a pair of handcuffs and close them . Use the tweezers to push between the "teeth" in the locking mechanism to separate where they lock together which will allow the handcuff to open .
      The tweezers are not used to "pick" the lock in the key hole . I've only done this twice . All the best to you Felix .

    • @C4H10N4O2
      @C4H10N4O2 4 года назад +3

      Why would anyone handcuff you but let you keep a knife ?..

    • @QuantumMechanic_88
      @QuantumMechanic_88 4 года назад +2

      @Iridium - Very good question . Imagine a tiny SAK in the bottom of a rear trouser pocket which has tweezers . Easily missed during a search . A tweezer , shim or handcuff key is easily taped on the inside of a belt . A large bobby pin can be used for a shim , but the best handcuff shim is made from the metal strip in an auto windshield wiper blade . A belt can be made to hold a small SAK with a blade giving the option of cutting cordage . ATB

    Use 2 Swiss knives’ bottle opener with that drill bit on opposite sides and tie them stable to each other (making T shape with the drill bit). Then you can use 2 hands to twist the drill, so maybe won’t break the little nose if using only 1 bottle opener.

    Neat trick! For trick number 4, you can buy a smaller drillbit made of TITANIUM. They are more expensive but weigh a lot less, and they come in all sizes so you can buy a size small enough to carry together with the knife.

    Felix, I have only recently found your channel and I am enjoying very much. However I have noticed that when you are drilling through a plank of wood, you sometimes have a problem with flat or spade bits causing breakthrough damage to the bottom face of your planks, I was taught that to avoid this problem I should either use a sacrificial piece of wood clamped or strapped beneath to drill into or drill through until the centre point of the drill starts to show the bottom face of the workpiece, then reverse the drill flip the workpiece and using the small centre mark to relocate the drill complete the hole from the other side.

    Another use for the bottle opener, that's great !
    I bought a Rangergrip 55 (130mm Delemonte range) a year ago and when I had to remove the scales for some reason or other, I discovered that the hex hole was already in some of the liners from manufacture. So obviously (!), I opened up the scale on that side to expose the hex and now have a hex socket for screwdriver bits and a drill. I keep a selection of bits and a 1/4 inch drive adaptor along with a 6 inch flexi screwdriver extension with the knife and it has become a multitool in it's own right. You're right though Felix, I wouldn't put too much strain on it in case the liners become damaged.

    • @FelixImmler
      @FelixImmler  4 года назад +1

      Well, I have an idea
      One of my most favorite knives
      Is the tom brown tracker 1
      I was wondering if I were to send you one ,
      or just pay you to buy 1
      And of course you can modify and keep it.....
      Let your imagination run wild ,,
      Install swiss army knife tools in the handle some how,
      And then i would pay you to make 1 or 2 for me.....
      At this time in my life i just dont have the workshop facilities to do that,,,,,
