Prolly one with Vanyarin descent. Vanyar Elves are the ones with golden hair. Either Galadriel (who got her golden hair from her Vanyarin grandmother Indis) or Idril, princess of Gondolin (who's half Vanyar from her mother's side).
The story of Beren and Luthien, and mighty Ruan-The Hound of Valinor!!! Probably my favorite story within the Silmarillion, and should absolutely be a film in and of itself. It meant so much to Tolkien that he and his wifes' tombstones bear the names "Beren" and "Luthien".
First The children of Hurin and now this? Mannnnn, these trailers should be at the top standarts and all film makers should get inspiration of these pieces. Bravoooo - amazing job. An R-rated version of the Silmarillion would be amazing. It's darker and more violent than LOTR, and covers a much greater time period. I'd also be happy w/ Children of Hurin.
@@Kevin-nb1ojHere we are not talking about any obscenities, but about the gravity of the story. One film adaptation of Turin Turambar is enough to bring millions of people to tears. And what about film adaptations. One scene with the capture of Finoduilas, when Turin stands enchanted by Glaurung, and she is led past and he, standing a meter away, simply watches as she, screaming, begging him for help, is taken away by orcs - that's enough. The same Smaug does not even come close to causing the same hatred as Glaurung.
Stunning! I never thought I'd ever see it, even with the advances in technology, but all those stories are far beyond, yet, you really did it. Feanor was indeed the fairest of all the Vanyar of the Blessed Realm. He was always talked about as beyond far beyond all the sons of the Noldor in visage and countenance, and skilled in the crafting of gems, and of things of power, than all the Noldor, having learned at the forge of Aule himself, one of the Valar, they who were entrusted by the One God, with the governance of the people of not just Middle Earth, but all of Belariand unto the distant shores, indeed, all the world lay under their power. Having Henry Clavill was brilliant, and whoever you used to inspire the female characters, all were spellbindingly gorgeous, as would be the case. Indeed, who in the world could play Luthian Tinuevial? She is always referred to as "the fairest child of Illuvatar that has ever walked the Earth, before or since and never will there ever be another, for she bore the traits of not only the fairest of the Vanyar, being a child of Ulwe, but she was also the daughter of Melian, the Maia. Melian was one with the Creator before the world was made, she was part of the divine music that made the world and she loved the wild open spaces, the woods of Middle Earth, and she because bound to the land, but of divine nature, for she was immortal and one with the Valar, though of an only slightly lesser nature" So Luthian will be, must be, the most perfect female ever to walk the planet. The few females that you used for inspiration, were perfect, each one. It was all so good. Very well done. If I saw this in 1979, when I first read my first edition of the Silmarrilion, I would have FREAKED OUT!! But, even so, what I really would have wanted to see was Beren and Luthian, and the story of Turin Turamber. Narn i Hin Hurin is my favorite, of all the stories. To remember Beleg Strongbow, the land of the Helm and Bow; just brings back such memories! Well done.
Astonishing. Love it... make the whole movie and we'll watch it, for sure. Excellent work. Show Olorin, Nienna, the Maiar... go for it! Many of us would stream it.
That is such a beautify made trailer 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 the art on it own 🤩 i’d love to see at least parts of it made in a real thing! Bravo for the work you’ve put in it 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I think it's pretty likely that in the future we'll get the whole Silmarillion made by AI, in tons of various versions. Imagine being able to make it yourself, helping with the script, selecting which actors you want, etc. Exciting times really.
Henry Cavil as Feanor is on point. Christopher Walken as Melkor "You know, The Silmarils, I gotta have em. I gotta feva and the only prescription is more silmarils."
Damn! People who haven't read the book won't even understand how much work was done here! These aren't just pretty pictures. These are the most important moments from The Silmarilion!!! Not all of them, but still! Here are the ones I saw: 1) The Exodus of the first elves to Valinor 2) The creation of the Silmarils (they just look kind of weak and for some reason are different colors. This is literally the most beautiful and powerful artifact in the entire Tolkien Universe! They should more closely resemble the Arkenstone, only brighter and more beautiful) 3) The meeting of Beren and Luthien (literally the most important story of all. "The grave of Beren and Luthien" - it's written on the grave of Tolkien and his wife). This is an elf in blue. 4) The battle of Fingolfin and Morgoth. 5) Dagor Bragolah (battle in fire) 6) The arrival of Beor the Old from the east - the first man the elves saw. 7) The departure of Earendil (Elrond's father) to Valinor. 8) The meeting of Turin and the dragon Glaurung under Nargothrond. 9) Gondolin, the great city of the elves, where Gandalf's sword was created. 10) The collapse of Numenor. And that's not all. Ulmo, Ancalogon the Black, the Trees, Angband - the author literally did ten times more work than the idiots from Amazon.
Please please PLEASE for the love of GOD, we need more 🙏 🥺 Just the aesthetic feel of Tolkein's world (the glistening light of the trees, the deceptively young elven soldiers glancing at one another before facing the battle, the beautiful score, and of course the Lady Galadriel ...) ughhh so goood ❤!!
That's pretty great. Loved the landscapes and the shots of Melkor and the Valar. I liked this a lot; if I can drop just two critiques- - the narrating voice explaining the synopsis is very late '90s... The voice works at the beginning where it's like the Galadriel narration in LOTR. - maybe too many close ups of vague characters? I can recognize Beren and Luthien, Túrin, Feanor, but a lot of them just feel more like a portfolio slideshow rather than a trailer.
I am of Iran (allied with Morgoth) though I am a follower of Ilvatar. thank you I can't believe I'm flying with joy that The Silmarillion is being made.❤🎉
You're completely wrong. The dwarves singing to the mountains is very Tolkien and Clark's Galadriel is outstanding. She's the only Galadriel as far as I'm concerned. A million times better than peter jackson's movies
@fred20097 I must admit that the mountain singing was the absolute least thing I had issue with concerning the RoP. And I agree that Clark's Galadriel *stands out*....

"This 2:42 long fake trailer is so much better than the whole damn Rings of Power series!"
This is a good example of what it means to produce merely a two-and-a-half-minute trailer, versus producing two seasons with 16 hours of content.
no its not bro be realistic lmao
true 😃

Two and a half minutes of trailer that are worth more than the whole Rings of Power series
why everybody hates rings of power. i dont understand
Don’t let it fool you. It’s not real.
@@yumblum They hate the series because even though the rights have been bought, it's all a mess that has nothing to do with Tolkien's writings, the script is weak, political correctness at the highest level, complete disregard for the descriptions of everything, Mickey Mouse style dialogues...and what else right? The show is fun to watch but...that's about it. Certainly if it had a different name and wasn't directly associated with Tolkien there wouldn't be so much hate BUT...the creators bet on the name to make money and that was exactly their mistake.
@@yumblum because it is the worst joke, a mockery of a genius writer the world has ever seen.
Absolutely epic! I hope someone in the industry sees this and realizes there is a movie worth making here!
It's annoying that fan-made content is more beautiful than the real ones. It's sad to watch incompetent and stupid people waste unimaginable budgets
Yeah, just look at The Hunt for Gollum and Born of Hope. So much can be accomplished by dedication and respect for the lore.
Thie is fan love, written by one steeped in Tolkien lore. For Amazon Prime, the scriptwriters are just doing a job, earning a salary. Probably with just a passing knowledge of the The Silmarllion and LOTR
Right, totally agree with tour opinion. A sad french
@@user-ui3dv5ek7l Looked up The Hunt for Gollum, I loved it so much! Thanks for the direction!

If a bunch of nerds managed to re-create the entirety of Middle Earth in Minecraft then surely we can get a bunch of nerds together to make a full-fledged AI Silmarilliom movie.
It took those guys over a decade to do that though lol
We don’t need nerds to create anything, middle earth isn’t a nerd thing Star Wars is
A fellow mod player, I like
It's not possible due to technology limitations
Imagine an animated TV show on the curse of the Noldor starting from when Feanor creates the Silmarills and ending when the last one is cast into the sea, imagine how epic that would be.
Dude you never miss! Fantastic trailer as always
If only Tolkien could be here to see this masterpiece.

I have tears in my eyes.. for the Love of God way can’t we have this ?! Tolkien’s actual work! Not that bastardization the RANGS OF PRIME. Deceiving people & shitting on Tolkien’s life work.
Goodness, its all FICTION who is being deceived?? LOL
Fiction needs no basis in truth, what a funny thing to say. Big Cinema is never going to portray books as they were written to a tee. OTHO this AI has the potential for breaking the back of that industry and the rise of citizens creating their own entertainment - but there will be conflict, you dont give up billlions and billions overnight.
And AI creators will have to start writing their own original scripts - IP owners are not going like plagiarism of their properties. YT has already taken down a bunch of infringing AI content.
"RANGS OF PRIME" 🤣
I understood that reference!
If you knew the first thing about Tolkiens work you wouldn't have made this comment...
Oirish Bombadil anyone? Dreadful isn't it?
O.m.g!!! The elf at 02:02 is the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen! Imagine this as a 20 seasons series.
I think that is Luthien
@@generoberts9151 Not a bad guess but Luthien had dark hair.
@@benlemin751 I thought i saw animation where she was blonde. Must be mistaken.
Prolly one with Vanyarin descent. Vanyar Elves are the ones with golden hair. Either Galadriel (who got her golden hair from her Vanyarin grandmother Indis) or Idril, princess of Gondolin (who's half Vanyar from her mother's side).
The most beautiful thimg in this video is Henry Cavill, and he's real
The story of Beren and Luthien, and mighty Ruan-The Hound of Valinor!!! Probably my favorite story within the Silmarillion, and should absolutely be a film in and of itself. It meant so much to Tolkien that he and his wifes' tombstones bear the names "Beren" and "Luthien".

First The children of Hurin and now this? Mannnnn, these trailers should be at the top standarts and all film makers should get inspiration of these pieces. Bravoooo - amazing job. In addition, looking forward to see Fingolfin vs Melkor combat from challenging call at Angband gate till eagles' help. Your trailers are pretty close to the human imaginations. Best!!!
Can't remember that I ever got goose bumps by a Trailer.... This is fantastic an hits my imagination of The Simarilion so well! Great Job and a big thank you!
An R-rated version of the Silmarillion would be amazing. It's darker and more violent than LOTR, and covers a much greater time period. I'd also be happy w/ Children of Hurin.
This would not be in line with Tolkien's own vision, which "should be 'high, purged of the gross" - Letter 131
W O W 😮 how good this is. There's not just a lot of AI work involved. You have an excellent feel for scene selection, sound, voices, etc. Great work!

no
Elves that look young and like elves.... AI understands what makers of rings of showder don´t...
Very well done!
I do not deny that my heart has greatly desired this ... beyond awesome.
Well done.
Feanor was not a vanyar of course.
Feanor wasn't a Vanyar.

Damn! People who haven't read the book won't even understand how much work was done here!
These aren't just pretty pictures. These are the most important moments from The Silmarilion!!! Not all of them, but still!
Here are the ones I saw:
1) The Exodus of the first elves to Valinor
2) The creation of the Silmarils (they just look kind of weak and for some reason are different colors. This is literally the most beautiful and powerful artifact in the entire Tolkien Universe! They should more closely resemble the Arkenstone, only brighter and more beautiful)
3) The meeting of Beren and Luthien (literally the most important story of all. "The grave of Beren and Luthien" - it's written on the grave of Tolkien and his wife). This is an elf in blue.
4) The battle of Fingolfin and Morgoth.
5) Dagor Bragolah (battle in fire)
6) The arrival of Beor the Old from the east - the first man the elves saw.
There is some good in this world, and it's worth fighting for

Sooner than you think.
That's pretty great. Loved the landscapes and the shots of Melkor and the Valar.
I liked this a lot; if I can drop just two critiques-
- the narrating voice explaining the synopsis is very late '90s... The voice works at the beginning where it's like the Galadriel narration in LOTR.
- maybe too many close ups of vague characters? I can recognize Beren and Luthien, Túrin, Feanor, but a lot of them just feel more like a portfolio slideshow rather than a trailer.
Dude, critiques of any kind aren’t really required here. The fact that it was made deserves recognition in itself.
