You know me, gotta find all the weird stuff that isn't documented and make a video on it to teach everyone else how to do this type of stuff! :D and thankfully this can be used across controllers and games so it's a nice little use case of a bigger tool set! :)
You are very welcome Buddy! I also enjoy finding weird ways to play games and found (in my opinion) the best way to do it with any controller on any game haha wanted to share it for all the challenge gamers :P
anyone got a solution? my g29 keeps moving my character backwards even when i map the controls right and i cannot figure it out for hours i cannot figure this out someone please help me!
I know this video is a year old, but I just first want to thank you for this video. I was wanting to play ER with a sim rig and this video was very informative and comprehensive. With that out of the way, did you have any weird issues with using the steering wheel for A/D? I keep trying it that way and it feels like it somehow makes my gas and pedal brakes go backwards and then it's just really hard to smoothly move around. Tried switching the camera left and right to the wheel and that was better but still not great. I'm sure it probably is just a matter of me not being used to a weird way of playing but didn't know if you had any more tips?
just to let everyone know if your reading this to disable steam controller input i found it was still double inputting until i disabled steam controller input on the steam client for game
Right click the icon in your system tray (usually the lower left of your screen on the windows taskbar) then hit quit. That’ll close the software. Otherwise you can use task manager to end the task 👍🏻
Can you help me please? In the game my character is walking alone, this happens even before installing this software, it also happens in other games, I don't know how to solve it.
My controller just broke and I only had my advanced sim racing rig around. Had no clue how to solve the problem but now I do. Thank you sir 👍
lol you are very welcome, I'm glad that you continue playing hard games using even harder ways haha :P
Bro only 800 subs and this channel seems so awesome. W Zach
I appreciate that Vlad! I got a long way to go but that's ok as long as I was able to help a few people out it makes it worth it to me!
i can confirm this still works in 2025! Thanks for the great tutorial
I was NOT expecting this

I plugged in an xbox one controller in addition to the wheel/device and when i used the joystick I was able to somehow get that to stop happening

Reminds me of a guy playing Dark Souls using ice cubes 😂
I am just imaging having to change out the controllers every like 20 minutes as each ice cube melts 😂 amazing!
I am inspired to play Animal Crossing with GameCube Bongos lol.
I wish I could have a set of those to make some truly absurd setups for gaming lol
I have been playing for 1 hour now, but I want to play a racing game but I can't turn off antimicrox. How do I solve this problem?

my antimacrox wont detect my steering wheel
What wheel are you using? Make sure if your using the HID HIDE program that ANTIMICROX has access to see the wheel device as well.
