Installing Ubuntu App on Windows 10 | Neper installation part - 1 | Linux terminal on windows

Installing the Ubuntu app on Windows 10 computer is demonstrated.
Enter following in Windows PowerShell (run as administrator):
dism.exe /online /enable-feature /featurename:Microsoft-Windows-Subsystem-Linux /all /norestart
dism.exe /online /enable-feature /featurename:VirtualMachinePlatform /all /norestart
This is the first part of the 3 part series "How to install Neper?"
We have to first install the ubuntu app on a Windows machine in order to install neper.

i have download the Ubuntu. But it shows WSL requires an update to its kernel component.
What should I do please help me.

hey thanks for your help. but when i launch ubuntu app, it says (Installing, this may take a few minutes...
WslRegisterDistribution failed with error: 0x8000000d
Error: 0x8000000d An illegal state change was requested.) and when i press any key it automatically closes. please let me know how to fix this? thankyou
