    Few questions if I may ask:
    1) Why no CanBus?
    2) Why didn't you use the compact probe calibration by viesturs?
    3) Is the calibration sequence from the macros that the man, the legend viesturs has, or is it something custom by yours truly?

      1) it is CAN
      2) i am, kinda... what do you mean by the "compact probe calib"?
      3) the calibration code is from the legend Kevin O' Connor, which was later adapted viesturz and also tinkered on by mine truly

      @@contomo5710 Thank your for taking the time.
      1) Damn, your cables look insanely thicc, are you running a town at each toolhead? ;D (What is that cable, USB? So 90 ohm impedance?)
      (What is the drag on filament going through the zigzaging PTFE, flexibles?)
      2) Well I am planning on using the "NozzleAlign" -> Low profile ball probe (by the one and only, viesturs, and if that doesn't work I might use the setup seen in the cute printer above.)
      3) Soooo, do you mind sharing your Github so I can find your stuff if the viesturs makros don't work... (Please only a name, RUclips deletes comments with links) :(
      4) Any recommendations on curing the high temp RTV silicone, my stuff won't cure?
      Anyway, thanks again.

      @ the probe is a "nudge", i like it a lot.
      yep, usb cables
      zigzag drag actually not that big, altho i dont recommend doing zig zag (stuff like ASA GF breaks)

    Awesome

    awesome project, seems much simpler than those ball calibration probes!
    Is this based on direct electrical contact with the nozzle or does the mechanical contact with the rod trigger a switch?

    • @contomo5710
      @contomo5710  6 месяцев назад

      its a NC ring of screws touching, contact gets broken when touching rod

    Hey, looks nice, i´m right now at the beginning to make my 350 Voron to use the Tapchanger. I wonly would like to know how satisfied are you with the HGX lite Extruder ?

    • @contomo5710
      @contomo5710  6 месяцев назад

      pretty satisfied, cant complain. the tapchanger extruder (the one compacted into dragonburner using HGX gears also works pretty neat)

    This looks fantastic! The speed of Z movement is also very impressive. Are you doing it with kit motors?

      ye the standard ones from steppers online, actually the same the old anet a8 used lel, just at 48V with tmc5160

    This is awesome! Did you make this macro or find it somewhere? Google gives me nothing useful and I was about to go start writing my own code for x/y/z offsets

      check out the nudge repo on github, not sure but this or the other videos have the github linked (of klipper toolchanger plugin)
      the viesturz klipper toolchanger github also contains the code, with added like, auto parsing n stuff

    That spiral move / re-docking the toolhead in one motion is AMAZING... how did you manage that?

    • @contomo5710
      @contomo5710  7 месяцев назад +3

      its part of the klipper toolchanger plugin, a rounded G0 version, where you can drive to positions and set a sort of "closeless" it must have before it starts going to the next point.

    Printer looks awesome! How did you achieve the zig zag pattern in you umbilical cable?

    • @contomo5710
      @contomo5710  7 месяцев назад

      by bending it in a zig zag pattern ^^
      theres piano wire in there, i would not recommend doing zig zag tho! ptfe kinks, and not only that but any less than wobbly filament will snap
