Heyo you got the pierce crash glitch!
Apparently if you activate Pierce with a ranged attack the game sometimes crashes because it queues up the follow up attack to play while the enemy is still losing hp, so the attack never starts and the game soft locks.
Similar issue happens with the devil axe if you self-own against someone with a very fast follow up attack animation like a hand axe, your hp will go into ??? and never resolve. Happened to me in my fe7 0 bases run in the Gaiden map with all the berserkers.

Vanessa has always been one of my most used units but for rescue shenanigans, never really for actual combat.. I may have to reconsider how I'm using her in my next playthrough of Sacred Stones. Never thought pierce was so great as it's just a low rng based skill

I mean pierce is kind of a meme (just like this video lol) but its a nice bonus. Besides Seth though Vanessa doesnt have much competition in the combat and utility sphere. Super fun unit
