Yeah my first thought was he looks anxious (wasn't sure if that is just how he plays, a lot of these guys look like that). But I notice he has a lot of forward neck title too, that could be a factor. A chiro could help.

Even though Fatality lost, his performance was really good. He almost brought it back after the SD and he previously stated this MU is Mario favored. Dark Wizzy played well too.

Dark Wizzy was playing out of his fucking mind this tournament, anything less than that and Fatality probably takes this match. And you can clearly see why Mario is not a great MU, low height makes Nair conversions much harder, and Mario has so many gimps for Falcon's recovery and combos for days. You have to rely on Stomp-Knee and grab lot of times, and that can get punished hard by up-smash.
Yeah falcon vs Mario is a shit match up. Mario has gimp tools and anti combos, falcon is combo food.

Mario has some serious cheese power with those cape and fireballs gimp, damn. What hurts more tho is Fatality SD-ing like that game 4, he almost won it despite that, feels bad man.
And people claim Mario is a super honest fundamentals character. My ass, he’s got gimmicks for days. Fair, fludd and cape all give him some ridiculous early kills

Yeah he’s got the ultimate cheese. I think the fludd and cape are his best tools any given match up but besides that mario can string combos very well, it takes some skill though. His back air is great and up smash is a phenomenal killing option

I used to feel bad for SDing with Falcon, but seeing that fatality does it at least once a set just makes you realize its part of playing the character.
Buff his recovery male it more horizontal or upwards buff his side b make it have less frames take away that hurtbox on his up neutral fix his movement so he can ne as fast as he once was and..my thoughts

His fanbase also exclusively talks about THE STYLE and THE DISRESPECT and whatever without knowing anything that's actually important for the game like proper neutral (Fatality himself is obviously an amazing player though)
The fact that Griffin took off a match from wizzy says a lot, he has the potential to mingle with the big dogs, I just think falcon is holding him back big time.
Ya fatality was a terminator in 4 but falcon sucks in this game. Hope falcon gets fixed/buffed so fatality can get back on top
Falcon isn't that bad as he's showcasing in these matches. He just has high skill ceiling and a few buffs away from high tier status.

From a fan's point of view it's just a little frustrating to know that he can do better but the chsracter he chooses to play doesnt let him unlock his full potential. I saw him play Terry not that long ago and he's best with Terry.

To be honest, Fatality did better than expected since he's not accustomed to playing against a player like dark wizzy which is a pro as far I consider . the tournament he plays are ones having people with less ability

He’s just not on the same level of the top top players. He’s comfortably the 2nd best Falcon but he’s not taking a real tourney anytime soon

To play this version of this character you have to defy your fear. It's what allows him to do well because he goes for things that others would be afraid to. Like he's constantly going against the urge to be safe or play scared and pushing himself to just go for it at all times. major respect.

Fatality is slowly improving and losing his nerves less. Glad to see. What sucks is that Mario as a character or classes Falcon pm many levels, and dark wizzy being exceptionally good player message that fatality has to be a better player than wizzy in order to win at all. Fatality has to put in 10x more work for easy damage and confirms.

Man, I kinda wish all Smash commentators were more like M2K. They spend way too much time talking about things that are not happening. Trying to fill the space, trying to sound like they understand the game super well, trying to injecting entertainment into the match. Nah bruh. Just watch the game, that’s where the excitement is, just react to each hit as it lands. Try to predict what will happen, explain why characters make the moves they do. Not all this backstory and side comments.

I love fatality so much and I’m in awe of what he’s doing with such a bad character. Idk what he thinks of the Mario matchup but it looked so volatile and I’m proud of how close he kept it. Those early stocks wizzy got really saved him
