These guides are great! Wanted to ask, do you have any plans for revising them when DT comes out? since classes like AST and DRG are supposedly getting big reworks it would be great!
@@Squintina Honestly, I think I learned enough from all of your videos that I'm excited to try planning out a config for picto and viper once I've got them to 100 on my own! I'm neurodivergent and was honestly struggling with controller being massively overwhelming til I found your channel. Thanks for all your work, and good vibes to you and your little ones!
A very nice guide. Personally, I found it better to have Harujin where Fleeting Raiju is, Dream Within a Dream where Harujin is, and Fleeting Raiju where Dream Within a Dream is. This is because ideally - at least last I look, a full setup has Fleeting Raiju and Bhaklava swapping back and forth for the opener and when used on rotation, you'll be throwing Fleeting after a Raiton so it would avoid hand swapping. Dream Within a Dream is used just before throwing out a ninjutsu so again avoiding hand switching. I also have Hide on the empty space on the third cross hotbar with a second Bhaklava where you have Hide so that whether It's usable after an Armor Crush or an Aeleon Edge, I don't have to swap hands. I also have Bunshin and Arm's Length swapped because it basically has Bunshin on the same button as Bhaklava and Frog and since they all use the same resource, it feels more "comfortable". Arm's Length position is, of course, reflected in the position of all classes that have it.
Thank you so much Squintina! These are very helpful! I'd like to ask you something: where do you put your mount in your setup? I like to use a different mount for each job so I usually use one of the potion spots for the mount, but it's not ideal.
Go into town. Press shukuchi. You should see directions for moving it via R1 and the left analog stick. This is a terrible way to move it in battle, so we won’t use that in battle, but what you do is you will place it above you. Imagine a boss above you around max melee range or so and place the dot there. Now that it’s placed, it’ll remember that location for later. Then during combat, do NOT move the targeting dot. Instead use your camera stick to move your viewing angle and aim. Let me know if this is confusing, maybe I’ll do this in a video to show it.
Another wonderful guide from Squintina! Tysm for these great videos
Thank you stek

At this moment, I don’t think so. It’s not that I don’t want to, but when DT comes out I’ll have a 1 month old and a 2 year old. I’ll be exhausted!
@@SquintinaYeah that’s fair. Congratulations on that btw, that’ll definitely be quite a handful, I wish you smooth sailings with that then.

I’ll have to try some of those things out! Maybe next expansion I’ll use some of these ideas (assuming ninja is still similar enough)!

I put it on my macro menu, which is on set 8. For Gatherers, which use mounts more frequently, I do put one on the WXHB.
