This song hurts in a good way. I get pretty bad executive dysfunction sometimes and I get stuck. Usually in front of the TV. Mad that I can’t get up. Sometimes remembering a time I wasn’t like this. I was happier then. And I wish I couldn’t remember it because then I couldn’t miss it.
You aren’t alone. It’s hard but believe me it can get better. Learning the task slicing method and not doing the “sit down”. Also…keep your shoes on until you are finished your jobs. These have helped me tremendously with my chronic task paralysis ! ❤ you’ve got this !

I’m both autistic and ADHD, meaning the inside of my head is a constant trash-fire of head-on train collisions. One of the only things that quiets it is music. The only music that works is loud/ busy enough to drown it out… and this, somehow, for some reason. I don’t know what it is. It’s not just that it’s calming, bc I’ve collected loads of calming music. Somehow, this makes me feel like I did the couple of times I was medicated, or how I do after 2+ hour long walks in the rain at night. All to say I can’t even put into words how great this is. Even trying to feels flimsy and heavy-handed. Thank you for the peace, it’s nice 💖💖💖
