The sound in this game was amazing. Hearing the thugs scream in the dark before they come attack you is terrifying. This game kept me on edge of my seat the whole time. The story pulled you in too
Condemned Criminal Origins is an amazing game. The combat in this game was so freaking awesome, the story for this game is amazing, the atmosphere for this game was very good, the graphics are so good, the enemies are amazing in this game, the final boss fight was so good and the ending for this game was quite amazing! :D

I find it funny that in this game Ethan and Rosa look older (40s-50s) but in the second game they look younger (20s-30s). Ethan also looks like he's Native American in this game but in Bloodshot he's white.
Yeah I get that he's become a drunk sometime after the end of Criminal Origins to the beginning of Bloodshot, he's also grown a beard and let his hair grow out. But their facial features look different like his nose and eyes. It's like they forgot what he looked like and created a new character.
Condemned was a great series imo very underrated gem. It had an interesting story, enemy types, characters and it scared the shit out of me lol SKX is one of my favorite video game villains of all time tbh. His design and cutscenes in bloodshot were really cool as well.
If a game deserves a remake, this should be on the top of the list! I remember hiring this game as a kid from the video store, was both a mistake and a blessing! Good ol days.
If it’s anybody that could remake this game, I think it should be red barrels. Same guys who made the outlast series. They could incorporate some elements from their outlast games and infuse the same feel into a new condemned game
@@AxelCracken Despite outlast and Condemned have clearly some Similarities, the Way the Horror is presented is very different. Outlast has a much "faster" feeling, in your Face-Horror than Condemned. Condemned feels slower and heavier, both in Gameplay and Horror. Also, Red Barrel doesn't have many Experience with fighting Mechanics, and you can't make Condemned without a good fighting System. I'm not saying that they aren't able to make a good Condemned Game, but i think it's very unlikely. And at the end of the Day there are so many little Things, that make Condemned Condemned. It's like with the Silent Hill games, they are one of a kibd. Only the OG Devs (Monolith, Team Silent, R. I. P.) have the true Soul and Spirit to make these Games.

Ah....the memories. Watching this took me back to 2007 when I first bought a 360 and bought Condemned at GameStop a couple of weeks later. This was the first ever FP horror game I played. Great game, great times. It paved the way for me. A glimpsed of what was yet to come for horror games.
Man I miss this game. The ambient sound and atmosphere top notch! And the mood setting sound track one of the best. I've thought about buying a 360 just to play this again and condemned 2. Very underrated games! I love the one finishing move Ethen does when he says "I'll take this you fuc_er!

Yeah lol i wanted to redo this with some nice visual tweaks and improved gameplay. I recently installed Dead space again and installed a fix for the god awful input delay that plagued the PC version.. I deleted my first walkthrough of DS1 awhile back because of the gameplay with the lag, i wasnt feeling it. will be redoing the entire series soon.

Watching this in 2021, can't help but wince every time a gun is dropped with a bullet left. As I remember... while you the player are limited to only what was in the clip, enemies can reload a weapon if it had at least 1 bullet when they picked it up. Thus why I always would empty any gun I found then drop it in favor of a melee weapon.
I'll pray n hope they listen and give a remastered version of condemned 1 and 2 literally the scariest n best horror game imo I think this horror game was scarier than any other horror game I played surround sound jus scare the shit out of you even more especially the start screen the way it make me jump out of my seat when I hear strange noises n get hit off guard the way it frightens me when they jump on you when they are unarmed everything about it was perfect n best for ppl who played it for the first time n looking for fun n a good scare 😍😍😍👏👍

Imagine if this is what Outlast was like! I would've actually gotten those games if that was the case, I'm not saying they aren't good games cause they are some of the scariest psychologically because you cant fight back and they don't pull their punches with the gritty/gore/blood/ proganity/ nudity ect ect im just not a fan of the whole "no fighting back" it frustrates me because I'm "fight or die" kind of person. I would love to see a crossover with the characters of this game and Resident Evil series .My guess is that they take place in the same year (1998). Also I believe that Ethan and Leland are the same age as Albert Wesker.
By adding some effects that werent available when the game was made (motion blur and magic bloom, and afew other little tweaks), along with going into the actual game settings and selecting the option to render internal textures at ultr hd.
Me and PB share a taste in games i started it out with ps1 playing Syphon filter and medevil plus the crashbashgames then when ps2 was released Simpsons hit and run spiderman and gta sanandreas on 360 saints row assasins creed FEAR then condemned criminal origins then FEAR 2 po and dead space, dead rising etc.

The best atmosphere I've ever experienced in a game. This would be so terrifying in VR.
I just adore the game's combat. To me, it kind of mirrors Dishonored by having a melee weapon in one hand and a ranged weapon in the other.
