I´m soo ecited!!!!! In one week I´ll see them in Malmö Sweden my first time!!! When I listen to their new songs, read about them and look at pictures of them I feel so...I don´t have any word to explain it!! I remember the movie when a teen nerd LOVED Kiss...when i think of him and the movie...I understand him!!
The more I listen to these songs the more I begin to think this truly is KISS' best album since probably "Creatures of the Night". All the songs are good and some are probably gonna be big hits.
This song is great because of its musical simplicity. It's all about having fun and enjoying the music. No politics, no whining about what's wrong with the world - just rock-n-roll.
This album is a modern day classic that almost no bands have the ability to create these days .... People just are not writting classics these days .. just product to make money, (yes that's right, they all want it as much as Gene, but can only dream of being anywhere close to as succesful as he is) BUT, KISS (and Gene)IS BACK and in full throttle. This song will be a massive live favourite.
Wow, what a song! The chorus to it kinda reminds of the chorus in Poison and I'm Eighteen by Alice Cooper who also rocks. Can't wait to hopefully go see KISS in Sheffield and Manchester later this year! KISS rocks and so do all the other older rock artists like Alice Cooper and AC/DC, quality. Looks like I'll be buying the KISS new album, many people are saying it is really good and I can see why with songs like this and Modern Day Delilah.
I agree 100% its about the live show and giving the fans a great sow. I have seen them over 20 times and if a person has not been to a show they are missing a Theatrical mind bending hold on to seat and scream your head off fun!!!!!! We do not need explain to the critics the hole KISS thing...I have been a fan for 25 years and even sometimes I forget the impact of KISS. This CD is fun. Not perfect but fun and the last I checked thats what Rock n Roll is all about..
I'm never going to get bored of this song! I can't get enough of Sonic Boom! I love Singer's drumming and Thayer's a mind blowing guitarist. I'm glad Peter Criss isn't on this album (not that he was really on Psycho Circus either lol)
Finally after years gone since Phsyco Circus, Kiss have finally given us a new album. From what I have heard just now it is a great one too. Yes it is true that Peter Criss and Ace are no longer memebers of Kiss but hey that was then and this is now. Tommy Thayer and Eric Singer are great musicians too. Great return by Kiss. Thanks for posting the Sonic Boom songs, Nitroass23B
KIss is back. top selling album great songs. I hope Pauls voice can hold out. Great show. just what we've been waiting for. now if they will play more of the new songs live. theres some good ones for sure.
I come from the future, and this comment has not aged well. Nobody cares since this isn't on Spotify and stuff in the US, just look at when they still play this song live. No reaction.
@@IdontKnow-jt2oz - Most people I know cite Sonic Book as one of the better KISS albums, out of their 20 album back catalogue. You're either deaf or lying if you think that this song doesn't get a killer reaction when played live, the passionate audience participation is off the chain during the chorus! The fact it's still a revered part of their live set 11 years later is a testament to how fundamental this era is to KISS's overall lore.
First of all, respect for replying to an eleven year old comment. Secondly, I've heard people say that this song gets no reaction. It probably depends on the crowd. As for it being one of the better Kiss albums overall, that's not a widely shared opinion. All the older generations will simp for the 70s, which I agree that all the 70s albums are better, but in a lot of people's rankings this album is near the bottom half. I haven't grown up with any albums in particular but in my retrospect, this album is not the worst, it's just okay.
@@IdontKnow-jt2oz - That's a very good point, especially with KISS where different songs were popular in different regions. Shandi was a hit in Australia only and the Crazy Nights single was a massive hit in the UK.
When this album came out they were really pushing "Modern Day Delilah" - which is a great song to be sure, but when I got my copy of Sonic Boom and listened this is the one that jumped out at me - THIS is your hit song, guys! It feels like old, hungry KISS, it gets your heart pounding and sets your inner air guitarist or air drummer loose. Moreover this is an anthem on even par with Rock and Roll All Night and Shout it Out Loud, if not better. All you have to do is watch the crowd when they play it -
for all the people who have listened to the album... fuck those ones who say that is bad or that is not KISS... ok! now those who just love to criticise, tell me how many bands with the age of KISS still writting new music, while they should being earning money from the millionaire world tours! there's thousands of bands who must impress with new albums, not KISS... it's a pleasure and an honour to have new KISS music, no matter what!!
Damn, when they play it at an concert and all the ppl join on the "Yeah, yeah, yeah!", that's just wild ! Getting chills when i think of the concert :D
Yea I agree. While Its not their best or finest work, I really enjoy this one. What are your 2 favorite tracks on Sonic Boom?? Mine are When Lightnig Strikes & Say Yeah
im stunned. this record is alot better than i had ever imagened. half of it is as good as their 70's stuff. this will validate tommy and eric but i wish they didt wear ace and peters make up. well done. best record since vinnie vincent for sure.
for the one who said kiss'concerts are not sold out,i just wanna say last year they were suposed to do a concert in italy, and after a couple of weeks they had to add another date,i wonder how many other bands with no new stuff on promotion can get the same results
i can not wait for wathc them here in mexico cyty at september hooooooo its gonna be nuts dude long live to kiss army hellyeha say yeha what an album totally love it
Hats off KISS... I knew it can be done... NO fiillers and total balls rock. This fuckin album has me pumped!!!! See you Oct 3rd, 9th, 10th and 12th..... KISS KISS KISS!!!!!
Amazing album from beginning to end~~~ Caught them on Alive 35 and they just did Modern Day Delilah from Boom...I guess as more people get exposed to the new songs, they will drop 2 or 3 more...Kiss N Roll!!!!
This album sounds like a real fucking winner, I'm gonna buy one for me and one for my dad so he can hear it. Funny how KISS is a band of 60 year old men and they still rock better than 99% of the shit called "rock" nowadays. KISS 4ever.
Great great song, but that opening riff just reminds me of something. Is it the "Pet sematary" by The Ramones? No diss, by all means, just wondering...
I think that Modern day delilah, I'm an animal. When the lightning strikes, All for the glory and Say yeah will be included in the set list. IMO they should play the whole album cause it's great. I wish they will play Never enough, Nobody's perfect and Russian roulette.
taratherat I think you understand where I am coming from, the band was falling apart in the late70 's with Peter and ACE's drug and alcohol addictions. The reunion tour was about money and the politics between ACE Peter with Gene and Paul was just too much, In the end Peter and ACE made some money and moved on. Funny I am a KISS fan from the start and I have accepted the new members. This reminds of Ron Wood of the Stones and how long it took people to accept him over Brian Jones.
you lucky bastard lol Ace is playing your home town and not perth i hope the same doesnt happen with Kiss. I would love to see aces anamoly shows to hear outter space and kiss stuff like two sides of the coin and the ace tracks from unmasked and dynasty and frehleys comet stuff. But i agree it a good thing we have this situation because we get two great albums and two great fucking shows. the last good show peter did was the Symphony Alive 4 album.
@IrishRockerDude1994 Hotter than Hell, Destroyer, Rock and Roll Over, Asylum, Revenge, and Psycho Circus would be my picks. All Kiss albums have something to offer, but those are my personal faves.
If pauls voice can withstand the tour, it should be a great show. I read the only song being added to the set list is modern day delilah. Theres at least 4 others from this album that should be added, and give others a rest....love all the classics, but lets hear some of the new stuff live. and some of the others that have never been played live.
Ace is good and his cd was amazing but lets think about it that is only because hes sober now before he did have trouble playing because of his drug and alcohol abuse just listen to the song "A Little Lower than the Angels"
@TheBoomDiggity500 HAHA YAH! :D I KNOW SOO FCKIN AWESOME! :D IN SAW THEM LAST SUMMER AND IT WAS THE SAME :3 :D OLD SONGS AND NEW :D:D:D:D:D:D HAHA -THNX ALL COOL PEOPLE LISTENING TO KISS!! REAL MUSIC!!!!-
Yeah, classic rock bands know what music is. If what you're listening to doesn't make you wanna tap them feet then what you're listening to isn't worth it. Most new bands are depressing and sing about things I couldn't give two shits about.
KISS rocks again! I've been an fan of KISS for over 30 years. This album is definately one of their best.
I´m soo ecited!!!!! In one week I´ll see them in Malmö Sweden my first time!!! This great track was played last night in GA show set list, 1st time on tour!
KISS RULES
Man one of the best Kiss songs....Thats Rock!!
THIS SONG SOUNDS MORE LIKE OLD KISS THAN ANY OTHER SONG ON THIS ALBUM. GOOD JOB PAUL!!!!
The more I listen to these songs the more I begin to think this truly is KISS' best album since probably "Creatures of the Night". All the songs are good and some are probably gonna be big hits.

these songs sound pretty darn good to me. will look forward to picking up the album the day it comes out..
How cool this would sound live!! Kiss needs to add this to their set list for the US tour.
Hey, I’m from the future. They play it live now and it’s AWESOME!!!!
When I seen them in 2013 they played this live
I like this song as well. No one can sing like Paul Stanley. He is the true leader of KISS.
Paul sings, but its more of a duet with Paul and good ol' auto-tune
I agree 100% its about the live show and giving the fans a great sow. Another fantastic KISS song!!
I'm never going to get bored of this song!
I can't get enough of Sonic Boom!

Great song Paul nailed it

I really think that in 10 years time, people will look back and say Sonic Boom was one of KISS's best albums.

Fantastic job KISS! This will absolutly be a hit, but other songs awsome too. SONIC BOOM baby!!§!
This is the best rock album out this year, no filler and it's at #1 on billboard.

my fav on the album by far, not really into a lot of the other songs except All For The Glory
Kiss rules!!! I`m going to see them in june! I am soo freaking excited about it!!!!
great CD. just got it yesterday. and those who say it sucks then its your opinion. i think its great.
Damn, when they play it at an concert and all the ppl join on the "Yeah, yeah, yeah!", that's just wild ! Getting chills when i think of the concert :D
Best song on the album.
This song kicks ass. lol. I saw the Camden, NJ concert last week and they just tore the house down. What a great show. :)
Say Yeah, and Modern Day Delilah are the 2 best songs for me anyways.. This song has Def Leopard written all over it, and I absolutely love this song
Yea I agree. While Its not their best or finest work, I really enjoy this one.
What are your 2 favorite tracks on Sonic Boom??
Mine are When Lightnig Strikes & Say Yeah
kiss is so awesome
I haven’t listen to this song for ever! Back in to it now
im stunned. this record is alot better than i had ever imagened. half of it is as good as their 70's stuff. this will validate tommy and eric but i wish they didt wear ace and peters make up.
well done. best record since vinnie vincent for sure.
Yes! I agree..just like AC/DC they rock and good lyrics
wow, tommy reall shreds on the solo, and the whole song rocks too.
Best song on the album in my opinion.
for the one who said kiss'concerts are not sold out,i just wanna say last year they were suposed to do a concert in italy, and after a couple of weeks they had to add another date,i wonder how many other bands with no new stuff on promotion can get the same results

KISS KISS KISS!!!!!
Well put! Couldn't have said it better myself.
gotta get this cd!!! one of my fav bands!
This is a great way to end the album. Paul is always good at starting albums with a bang and ending with a bang like his 1978 solo album.
Amazing album from beginning to end~~~ Caught them on Alive 35 and they just did Modern Day Delilah from Boom...I guess as more people get exposed to the new songs, they will drop 2 or 3 more...Kiss N Roll!!!!
One of the best songs on the CD
This album sounds like a real fucking winner, I'm gonna buy one for me and one for my dad so he can hear it. Funny how KISS is a band of 60 year old men and they still rock better than 99% of the shit called "rock" nowadays. KISS 4ever.
Great great song, but that opening riff just reminds me of something. Is it the "Pet sematary" by The Ramones?
No diss, by all means, just wondering...
I don't know how but somehow, need for speed prostreet brought me here even though this is not a part of it's soundtrack but damn, I found gold...
Well put. Couldn't agree more.
Killer album. Gonna sale great. But it does have an 80's feel. I like the 80's anyway. It's a winner in my book.
i will buy the album anyway i mean the best they have done since ... at least lick it
KISS RULES !!!!!!!!!
Anybody remember an old KISS song called "Domino"? That song is so badass.
I think that Modern day delilah, I'm an animal. When the lightning strikes, All for the glory and Say yeah will be included in the set list. IMO they should play the whole album cause it's great. I wish they will play Never enough, Nobody's perfect and Russian roulette.
ohh good. sooo great. let me hear you say yeah!
One of my favs! YEAH YEAH YEAH
super video! say yeah!
man lovce the new album
i agree im a long time fan and this cd blows

Best song on SONIC BOOM..
I FIRS THEARD THIS SONG AT A CONCERT IN ATLANTA KISS ALIVE 35
Yeah the album is great but this song is by far the stand out. Fucken fantastic!
If Paul and Gene are right about one thing, it's that any of the songs from Sonic Boom can be played live.
I am going to see them too :D In Malmö :)
12 men just declines everything but we accept it SAY YEAH!
