I always thought of her as a vocalist that dabbled in seiyuu roles, but the industry in general has proven by that Japanese culture expects well-roundedness at the very least with the best performers being proficient in multiple competencies. 🇯🇵💪🏽💪🏽
she's kind of classified as "seiyuu who is also a very good vocalist" because her start into the industry was through being a seiyuu (idolmaster's shizuka) and idolmaster work still accounts for the majority of the work she does now (lots of game lines recording, a weekly radio and guaranteed AT LEAST a couple of new songs and 1 concert every year)
Man. It's been a while since I've checked your channel out and I was so surprised to see KoroAzu on here. I'd love to see you react on her rock songs that ROCK really hard like “Unmei Dilemma” or “1HOPE Sniper” or other songs from the “So What?” album, I think you might enjoy those. The song she sang on this video is just one side of hers. Variety really is the spice of life, and I think that she fits that saying.

she has so many sides because she's very good at learning other people's special techniques and styles into her own vast arsenal... and then she can mix-and-match the best combinations of methods to tackle a song
I never thought the day would come when I would see Koroazu on this channel. Lol. Koroazu is a popular seiyuu in idol projects like The Idolmaster and Aikatsu, as well as music-themed works like Uma Musume and BanG Dream. Personally,I recommend the song ‘ALIVE FACTOR’. In this live stream, I love the amazing guitarist and composer 神田ジョン(John Kanda), too.
Games and anime with music as a central theme have increased rapidly since the 2010s because they can generate revenue from CD sales and live event attendance if successful. In line with this trend, many seiyuu agencies now prefer to hire those who can sing and dance.
So many great songs, singers, and bands that are brought to us by the anime world. I haven't seen if you have reviewed it or not, but the EP for Delicious In Dungeons, "Twilight Ash" by Regal Lily is amazing.
outside of koroazu's solo artist side, the work where she is most active in is actually idolmaster million live where she is the "main blue", the deputy leader position which in the franchise's tradition, is filled by the best vocalist of the group... and her group (a 39 person group) is the anomaly of the franchise in that it is filled to the bream with some of the best female seiyuu singers (like machico and amamiya sora), the "average" ones of the group are easily top10 and top5 at the other idolmaster groups... and koro sits comfortably on top of all of them in the vocal rankings
while i'm at Million Live, i would like to put a special mention to million's no.2 vocalist komagata yuri who is almost koro's equal as a singer at their group... komagata is under-rated probably because she's half-Filipino (like another great but under-rated seiyuu-singer, nakajima megumi) and japan is unfortunately, still a rather conservative and xenophobic country
from million live, koro was in a duet song (alive factor) with imai asami-san, the franchise's no.1 main blue, who is known as the "song goddess" of the franchise... koroazu is the only person among the hundreds of voice actresses in the franchise to date who managed to push imai-san to put in her everything in their duet-duel and managed to barely edge out on top of the much more junior koroazu... if they have a rematch now, the results would probably be different (recently, koro basically 1 vs 3 of rival franchise, LoveLive's best vocalists in the song during a concert last december)
other than alive factor, i also recommend her Sing My Song and from uma musume, her duet with the aforementioned machico in Everlasting Beats (she also duet alive factor with machico while they are at million live... koro and machico's friendship goes back more than a decade from before they became pro)
Oh yeah, by the way Band Maid should be releasing a new song "Protect You" on 07/05 or 07/06 for the new Grendizer anime.
If you're interested in voice actresses who can sing then I suggest you to listen to Nana Mizuki concerts and songs she is very popular Idol/voice actress and known as "The Queen of Anisong" her voice, range and performance are outstanding

I may be wrong on this, but in any case the feeling is there. Along with the Tarisland vid, this is the second time you're not explicitly disclosing a sponsorship. This kind of thing not only feels off-putting for viewers, but it's illegal in the US. If you do a sponsored video for a company, it doesn't mean you can't give a positive reaction to it. It's 2024, viewers are aware that content creators get paid for advertisement.
Viewers shouldn't be expected to infer that you're sponsored because you share links to their performances and show them how to purchase tickets. It's so easy to say "Thank you to ____ for sponsoring the video" and make a note in the description. If this wasn't sponsored, but you still went through the thorough explanation of how to buy tickets, the cost, making an account, that part could definitely use a "This is not a sponsored video, but I think it would be really great if we supported this talented voice actress by checking out her live show". So unnecessarily weird.
Yes in fact, you are wrong. The very first thing that appears in this video on the top left corner of the screen is "video includes paid promotion". It was there from the moment the video premiered this morning. You see, an audio disclosure is not effective as parts of RUclips videos are often skipped and therefore have no guarantee of the viewer experiencing it. Selecting the paid promotion card, that this built into youtube, AUTOMATICALLY plays when you click into the video.
