Got this for $118 with tax. They have a coupon with it. It's very good. I didn't have any problems with Focus at all. But if you are having issues with it trying moving the projector so it's at an angle. Keep the remote pointed at the projector from the back unit and it works fine
My advice on this Chinese projectors you can try to set aspect ratio to "point to point" that way it bypass "projector enhancements" and you can get better picture... for example i have Elephas q9 and difference between point to point or any other aspect ratio mode is huge! day - night different colors are natural and in general picture is better more what it should be...
I had a cheap projector from another brand ,the difference ,it had keystone correction. That made a great difference whilst adjusting the sharpness. It was a Qkk Ak83 projector. I got it for £79.00 but, have seen it as low as £39.00.
Thank you so much for the video! I was wondering whether this projector has batteries because I want to watch movies on my rooftop where there are no energy outlets :(
@@zas786 thank you so much for the quick reply. Can you please share with me the power consumption of this projector. I have a portable power station and I'm wondering if they are compatible.
You are right about the lights. I usually show the video quality with lights both off and on to give people a good idea. Forgot to turn off this time. Was rushing i guess. Note to self - Take your time :)
Actually for its good the lights were on. because I ended to see if the image was good even with lights on. Now to me it looks dark, not sure if light are on.
Did you have any issues with the audio playing through Netflix. I'm able to get audio through Bluetooth for other apps but it doesn't seem to want to play any audio through Netflix
Haven't experienced that. Depending on the streaming device you use, I would suggest playing with the audio settings. For example, on the firestick 4K, I would suggest switching between PCM, DOLBY DIGITAL PLUS, best available, etc to see which one works.
It was clocking at about 45 dB. That's pretty good. I never noticed fan noise while watching. As far as fan noise goes, you won't find better than this in a budget projector. Plus, it never got too hot, so the vents do a pretty good job too.
This is a better projector than Apeman. Brightness may be same or slightly better, but much better contrast. Much better focus, even though focus isn't perfect. Rarely is with these budget projectors. But, better than most. Sound is 100 times better. And, Bluetooth capabilitiy makes it a no brainer over Apeman.
I didn't play media from usb. I did use it to power the firestick. A couple of people have had the same complaint. I will reach out to manufacturer. Note to self to try this in future projector tests.
I did get a reply back with some attachments showing how to use USB. I can email it to you if you like. Also, as per the manufacturer, maximum size supported is 32 gb.
With this projector, you can't do wireless screen sharing over bluetooth.. You will need a lightning to hdmi adapter. Plug one end into the charge port of iphone. In the other end, plug hdmi cable which then goes into the hdmi port of the projector, and you are ready to mirror your iphone.
If you are streaming Netflix through a mobile phone like Apple or similar it won’t work due to the in built security. You can run it via a HDMI splitter with HDCP decoding but it gets a little clumsy adding so much stuff.. look up Netflix projector issues there is plenty of advice
I have a iPhone and I’m trying to connect to this projector I have a hdmi cord for my iPhone it worked for a few days and today my phone won’t show on the projector I think it had to do with me disconnecting screen share how do I get it back to show on screen share again
It should work. Close screen share completely. Maybe restart your phone. Re connect iPhone to projector and go through the steps. I don't see why it wouldn't work.
If you are using projector mainly with your iPhone, try the Artlii Enjoy 2 projector. It allows for wireless casting from your iPhone. No need for hdmi.

@@kcg7861 I didn't think it was blurry enough where image was out of focus. Some texts on the top and bottom maybe. Overall, I think for the price, this little projector was quite good. But, you won't get the sane performance as an optoma HD146X for example, which retails for about $500.

Reason why your focus is out at top or bottom is because your keystone is out, look at the sides of the screen.

I haven't come across a budget projecror that didn't have some kind of keystone correction.
How can I update this projector? I cant find the website for it.
The one I see now on Amazon has a built in DVD player for $127. and a $20. coupon?
Different model than the one i reviewed.
Get the higher priced one for just 118 now with coupon. It's great. Using it now

Unfortunately, this one doesn't have a built-in battery.
Search for portable projectors. More than a few options out there. Depending on your budget, of course.
