Zas, thanks from Denver. Can you tell us or show us with your db instrument the noise it produces? 🐜
@BoxAPG About 40bd from couple feet away. It's actually one the quieter projectors I have tested.
Greetings from Italy Zas ! Thanks for your review, just a question: which screen is better ,a White one or grey alr? I Will use the s5 both during day and nigth.thank you
@marceloggero1170 this is a standard throw projector, so a white screen works best. ALR screens do help with viewing in light conditions but I would only buy those for short throw projectors. As you can see in my video, it performs reasonably well even with some daylight. But, it's still at its best in a dark room. Hope that helps.
Could you possibly tell which type of external battery pack you are using? I think that it should have a USB C output of at least 60 Watts and that's a little hard to find, since most online vendors either do not specify the wattage or it is too low (ca 30 Watts, at best)!
@dionysosvaden3509 I did search on Amazon for 65 watt piwer bank and a few showed up. One I am using is by Baseus. 30,000 mah/65W.
@dionysosvaden3509 And yes, you are right. It requires a minimum of 60W power source.
@@zas786 Thank you very much for your prompt reply! I ordered from aliexpress one like it and it remains to be seen when it arrives if it is up to specs! (Amazon was more expensive in Europe where I am right now.)
@@dionysosvaden3509 I was going to suggest Aliexpress. Hope it works out.
Nice review i just bought one also for good deal
Nice 👍
Hi... where did you get this android tv 11? It has Android 9 on it! The software is the latest! that's good
Reached out to Fengmi. Either way, it's not the true Android TV 9 or 11. It's a Chinese interface, so no way to tell.
It runs Fengmi's proprietary Feng OS.
@@zas786 yes!!!
Não tem os ansilumens declarados.
@@zas786I’m confused are you saying you guessed Android 11 or you reached out to Fengmi and were able to get a custom update to Android 11?
Can you control (reduce) the brightness? I'm projecting in a completely dark room and it being too bright would be a problem
@wmacosx plenty of customization available when it comes to brightness and other image settings.
Is there any lag when connecting a Bluetooth speaker to this projector? I have an old xiaomi projector and can’t use my Bluetooth speaker with it because of the lag.
@marxthe.2651 by lag, do you mean audio sync issues ? If so, I never had any noticeable lag at all. I am using a samsung soundbar.
@@zas786 Yeah, the audio wasnt in sync when I connected my bluetooth speaker. Maybe its my speaker that's bad then :P
@marxthe.2651 yes sorry. Probably just your BT device.
How you connected to the speakers for surround sound hdmi/Bluetooth..
Bluetooth and hdmi both work great. I use Bluetooth to free up the HDMI port.
I am confused between formovie s5 or dangbei atom ??
@FlauntAarna Dangbei Atom has a better interface, since it runs the full Google TV software. S5 has a chinese interface, so you will need an external device for your apps. Image is very comparable. Both run on lasers and similar brightness and contrast. S5 has a usb-c port which makes it easier to hook up external battery packs. Atom does not. Atom is slighlty better overall but it also costs more than twice as much as S5. Really depends on what you are looking for.
@@zas786 I am. More concerned towards picture quality some videos. Made me. Confused that s5 is not full HD 1080p it is a 720p native and dangbei atom is full HD 1080p projector I am looking for clear and sharp image in between them from which I will get??
@FlauntAarna sorry but where are you getting the native 720p info?
@@zas786 some videos I seen there reviewers saying it is 720p native and with the help of pixel shifting create 1080p
@@FlauntAarna I don't think that's the case. I have seen both in action. If there is a difference in image quality, it's barely noticeable. That said, Atom is a better projector mainly because of google tv. But, more than twice the price. S5 is a much better value.
ALPD 3.0 or 4.0? Cannot be 5.0, right?
There is no info available. I know Fengmi uses 4.0 in the T1 model. If I had to guess, I would say this model is using 3.0. Either way, image is spectacular.
Do you know how to use it as Bluetooth speaker?
I am traveling currently so don't have the projector. But, it's in the settings. Either under sound or Bluetooth.
