A few years later I started betting back into hunting. She wasn't thrilled about having a gun in the house, but she learned to adjust. I took her to several shooting ranges - indoor pistol, outdoor rifle, & sporting clays. She fell in love with it all. Around the time of our 10th anniversary, I found a great deal on a used Ruger Redhawk 44mag revolver. I brought it home, and she immediately claimed it as hers and called it her anniversary gift. I work on the west coast. The west side of the state is liberal, the east side is conservative (divided by a mountain range). I went to some training and there was a variety of people there. There was a long break (lunch) and a buddy of mine, both of us from the east side, started talking about gun projects and such. There were about 3 people from the west side who jumped right into the conversation and couldn't stop talking. Later on I asked if they felt comfortable talking about guns with colleagues. They said "hell no". There were EXCITED to finally get to talk about their gun hobby and not hide it. It was hilarious.

@@JonMI6 you can't see the rule. At 2:14 the sign is in the background again and you can see what the rule is
I like how these dudes are actually trying to help the new guy out and give him subtle directions 😂
I lean left, this has been one of the best web series I’ve found on RUclips 😭
There's still hope for ya. ;)
I'll pray for you.
It's okay, buddy. We're here for you. Just let The Babylon Bee gently guide you into the wonderful realization that leaning right doesn't mean we don't love freedom...we just love having the freedom to protect our freedom more than we care to please or pacify people that may have been miseducated. Remember: with guns, we're citizens -- without them, we're subjects
Same, lowkey. 😂😂
I'd almost got my breath back after hearing "She's from Austin", and then you sprung "The Alec Baldwin Rule" on me. Almost didn't recover. Great work 'B'.
This series is SO awesome. I love how the husband wants SO bad to "switch sides" but is too scared of his wife to make the move. And what takes the cake, is that Timpani is a natural and now wants to buy an AR. Lol.
I said from the very first episode this needs to be on TV it needs to be half hour sitcom i’m telling you the Nielsen ratings would go crazy fill in a couple voids introduced some more characters mother-in-law father-in-law on both sides couple families from Texas and employment for the two of them and you have a hit show!
🤣🔫 so grateful for your support!
I absolutely love this series. All the actors are just fantastic. And the whole crew just does an amazing job.
That’s how it works in my experience. My mother hated guns for the longest time, but when my parents went to get their CC permits when we still needed them in Kentucky, she was a better shot than my dad.
Man, the husband is hell out of an actor, love it. So hilarious when he is excited
His excitement to start shooting was great! Honestly it's just perfect!
Yeah I agree
we’re rooting for you, Steve! 😂
2nd amendments. Criminals don't care about following the law or the rules. They scoff at the laws and rules. Criminals cheat, steal, and kill. All citizens train and arm yourselves because their is a bad person in every corner!
Don’t ever stop making these! I wish they were 30 minutes long. I’m so invested!
Not only do I LOVE the Babylon Bee, I love this series!
Had buddy who took a date out to the range.
He showed her how to safely handle the pistol, how everything worked, how to shoot it.
She listened intently.
Then when it was her turn to shoot she picked it up and emptied the magazine off quickly.
Every shot in the Black.
She smirked at him and ask him if there was anything else he wanted to show her.
Turns out she was a champion pistol shooter.
They have been married a long time now. 🤔
Not quite 20 years
I wish that happened to me. Mine almost shot me in the face.
Good for them

This saga must continue. Best sitcom in decades.
FakeNewZ. It started a war. For independence.
A king of England HATED US Boston media people. 3/5/1770. We fight media wars on desks nowadays page 1 US HISTORY CLASS.
They take way longer. Kinda our USA.
Long way to go!
Definitely better than almost everything on cable for sure
yes
This is so,what accurate. I was very anti-gun, but was already starting to question that. I took a handgun class in the interest of learning more and having some experience with guns since I shouldn’t hate what I don’t understand. Going through the class I learned just how responsible most gun owners are, and how much they take safety seriously. I don’t own any guns yet but totally changed my mind about them. 👍🏻
Own any now?
@scubasteve2189 Well done. It's a terrific sport, lots of fun, and it includes a very practical skill set. Dive in deeper, my friend.
I love how Steve instantly went for the gangster side shooting. 😂
Bullets come out cooler when you do that. Makes the gun last longer.
To be fair, most Californians' only knowledge of guns comes from Hollywood!
@Jason Bourne get a couple of them and you got some ninja stars. Just make sure they’re empty.
If you wave it around correctly, bullets can turn corners, too... like 'english' on a cue ball.
He had some awesome looking Yeetification going on.
Timpani's eye makeup is just as funny as everything else about this outstanding series! More episodes, please!!!
Wasn't it from a Sodom and Gomorrah scene in some old biblical movie
Cool tag.
Im from Paducah.
I actually really like it lol
1980s trailer park queen makeup. It ain't new trust me haha
@Late To The Party oh yeah
the time stamp in the playlist shows this particular video length 5:56 . I'm not sure if that was planned, but 5.56 is a good number for this episode! :) I love it!
You guys need to make a full length movie about this.
As a native Texan I want to compliment you on your Tex-accuracy ("she's in Austin") and also thank you for addressing the subject with such great humor.
As soon as I heard "She's in Austin," I, also as a native Texan, instinctively said "yeah, that makes sense..."
Austin must be where all of these wokifornians are migrating to. Thankfully haven't seen too many in San Antonio yet.
Not going to lie, this series brings such a smile to my face.
The constant through line of Steve reaching for meat products is brilliant. 😂🤣
This should be a sitcom! I don’t even watch tv, but id probably watch this 😊
"she's from Austin"
When I heard that, I had the exact same reaction as those 2 guys, I am from Texas and it just makes so much sense
I've had several "range conversions" over the years. Its so rewarding to see the fear fall away and respect + confidence take its place. A few times at the range and a purchase usually follows. :-)
I just about drove into a ditch laughing at the “Alec Baldwin rule” 😂
Edit: yes, I was obviously listening and not watching while driving…. Thanks 👍
Were you watching this while you're driving? Yikes!
@@NovaStorm711 Truly...
I'm calling it the Alec Baldwin Rule from now on when referring to ensuring the firearm is treated as loaded! 🤣
I don't wanna sound like some lefty but for your safety (not to mention random CHILDREN in other cars) don't watch videos while driving, I can't believe this has to be said...
@@thejakalsden in fairness, I quite often listen to videos while driving.
Even Piers Morgan had a smile on his face after playing with Ted Nugent's guns.
“We call this the Alec Baldwin rule”!!!! 😂😂😂😂😂 I love this series. Guess this was their marriage counseling session!
I just saw that. Fucking great.
that was great lol
Did you notice the sign in the background for the Hunter Biden rule.
Literal shots fired heh
Every range needs that sign
Both - "She's in Austin" "that makes sense..." I laughed WAY too hard at that! Ya'll just nailed it! Again! Thanks!
“Texification”, should be required in Austin for longtime residents and newcomers alike.
I'm sad this show is so short! I love it!! 😂
I love the husband character. He is absolutely hilarious. This series is making me want to move to Texas.
C'mon down!
They shoulda let him continue to shoot sideways Gangsta style instead of stopping him. I bet He would have hit the target every time.
@@ViewThis. he/him shot sideways and still didn't landed a shot

A spinoff with a northeastern family moving to Florida would be great!
"What do you mean, NO MASKS REQUIRED???"
Why? Normally N.Yers move to Florida every year during the winter, thats nothing new.
oh this!!!!!
@@grimaldo99
It was definitely the thing when I moved out of NYC to Texas in 1989. Everyone wanted to retire in Florida.
@@mrprfct7069
Yours is a bit of an outlier situation. You chose to move to the most socialist city in all of the south and then are comparing it to the most constitutional of all of the NE. You can’t assume your experience is in any way typical.
I shit you not, this was my sister. I introduced her to weapons (handguns, rifles and shotguns), thought her the fundamentals and safety rules and then she started blasting center mess and then headshots.... needless to say it brought a tear to my eye 🥺
Mine didn't even bother with body shots... "Too much Call of Doody!"
I, female, relate. As a freshman in college, I was put on the varsity rifle team. I love the kick of high powered rifles!
What kind of gun were you using on the college rifle team. They all use air guns today. Years ago they used .22s.
@@CNubel Anschutz rifles .22 in competition. For fun we used WWII M1s, 12 gauge shotguns.
I was laughing before I even clicked on the thumbnail. There was no way the gun range wasn't going to be good.
Part 4 and still going strong! Keep it up, Bee!
Everything about this series is perfect. From the fact that Steve was the first to start turning to the "she's in Austin", everything is exactly what you'd expect to see from a Cali couple that moved to Texas. You all did an excellent job, looking forward to more!
"She's in Austin" Oh man, that was hilarious!
You guys knocked it out of the park, again!
Steve just loves it, his enthusiasm for anything Texan style is so addictive!
This remains my favorite running skit. From actors to script to situations... so good!
I love this series. Steve shoots like he is in a movie and that had me in tears.
Preemptively liking this because I already know it's going to be great.
You were right!
I love how the husband is itching to try the texas lifestyle, while the wife is just really slowly getting used to it.
That's actually pretty good, since I was worried their marriage will suffer with only Steve getting used to the place, nice that Tiffany finds things to like too, and that the Texas guys are so patient with them.
If Steve ain't careful, the AR isn't going to be the only thing in Texas that she's secretly craving.
Naive much? 🙄🙄
Worried? This isn’t a documentary…
@@zac3392 are you an idiot?

I live in Houston. I had neighbors from California. They were just like this couple. Thank GOD they moved.
Moved to Austin to be with their kind of people?
@@Strategory76 I live in Austin. Unfortunately yes there are more libs here than what Texas would prefer, but they aren't as numerous as many people think.
The part about the smell of gunpowder really spoke to me 😊 At this point my brain just associates that aroma with happiness.
Also love the smell of Hoppe’s No. 9. I wish they’d make that in a cologne.
Lol same. It’s like smelling bbq…..😌
@@ericplaysbass So....... you're saying it isn't?
Spent gunpowder is a funny thing. Some people have a feeling of euphoria just smelling it, like a small high. Seeing all the stuff it can be mixed with to turn it into a proper drug, it makes sense that it could do something alone. Add to that the joy of the atmosphere in a range, and who can truly be surprised at how nice it is to smell gunpowder?
Black powder smells better. End with the flintlock 🤗
I'm in the range weekly, it's amazing the amount of people from CA I have met in the last year.
I like the unexpected twist that Timpani
is the one that fell in love with the guns.
It actually makes her just a little bit less annoying. 😂
unlike most liberals there may be hope for her :)
Thanks I think 🤣🔫❤️
Man, I'm enjoying that husband character more with every episode. So much bottled joy waiting to burst out
The way he was firing the AR one-handed made me absolutely cringe and no range safety officer would allow him to get a shot off in real life like that.
@@davidhfranz I assume the cringe was purely intentional. It's like watching someone sing badly on purpose. It'd be hard to mess up that many things at once without trying.
Right? He looks like a fun person to be around
We all cheering for Steve but not gonna lie, Timpani owned this episode 😆
Surprised they didn't get divorced with how the guy was very much on board with literally every Texas thing. Been in texas my entire life. The Austin part had me laughing like a mad man at 3:30 am lol
“You found a marriage councilor in Texas that uses the word Texification?”
“She’s from Austin.”
This makes absolute sense
Austin is this big black hole in the middle of the greatest country (Texas) on earth with only a force field separating the Republican Governor from certain disaster.
@@cscates3598 Has Austin always been like that? SRV was my favorite until he passed in 1990. Just curious.
@@jayniesgottagun Austin's was a bit weird, but it wasn't until the Great Plague of Locusts (Californians) started swarming in about 15 years ago that it went completely f'ing nuts. I was there in 2002, went off with the Army, came back in 2008 and you could already see it happening; the locals talked about it openly. Now it's just a colony.
Ironic that the oh-so-holy leftist Californians, who hate colonialism and the destruction of native cultures, are openly, proudly, and deliberately engaging in it now in Texas.
Austin IS NOT TEXAS, it’s commiefornia south.
Having lived in Austin I had to laugh. Absolutely in the ten ring, so to speak.
I really need this series to never end
I'm not even from Texas, and the "she's in Austin" said it all. Please keep these coming!
If only this video was 1 second longer that would be the cherry on top.
I thought Steve had the better character arc, but Timpani really stepped it up in this episode.
I'm really appreciating Timpani's acting. It's hard to get into the headspace of someone that doesn't think like you do, and she's had do more of it than either of them. It's tough, and I appreciate the slow burn of her character arc.
Thank you!!!!!!
❤️🔫🤣
@@ChandlerJuliet you are a great actress. Your shooting those guns reminds me of the time we hosted an exchange student from Germany, her reaction to shooting a gun and hitting the target mirrored the expressions I saw in your face. Great job!!?!

Being an ex-Californian that is more than content to becoming a Texan, this series has me hooked. Seriously... laughing uncontrollably here. So thankful to leave Cali behind and find likeminded people. I just wish for the family and friends we left behind that they could win back Cali for those of us who actually love democracy and the many things that made America great. Hoping the mid-terms take us in the right direction again. Keep up the hilarious work! Loving it!
@Big Dick Black who hurt you?
@Big Dick Black It's highly unlikely that a woman who's had a baby actually wants an abortion. Otherwise she could stay and fight for a better trained police force.
@Big Dick Black Enjoy having your head so far up your ass you can't even fight for air. Who knew there were this many retarded people in the world.
@Big Dick Black they should also have a one where they show the large homeless population drug use and incarnation. Causing people to abandon their homes due to democratic policies. Last time I check California has the worst economy right now people are fleeing
@Big Dick Black ok, counter-point her staying in California means her kids still get shot, but this time it's with an illegally obtained pistol and the cops still do nothing about it. Mind telling how that's any better?
I work on the west coast. The west side of the state is liberal, the east side is conservative (divided by a mountain range). I went to some training and there was a variety of people there. There was a long break (lunch) and a buddy of mine, both of us from the east side, started talking about gun projects and such. There were about 3 people from the west side who jumped right into the conversation and couldn't stop talking. Later on I asked if they felt comfortable talking about guns with colleagues. They said "hell no". There were EXCITED to finally get to talk about their gun hobby and not hide it. It was hilarious.
This was the perfect "lift me up" after a hard day at work. *Thank you Bee!*
I'm just amazed at how strong ALL the cast is. I love every single character.... I love Babylon Been, but man this series is top-notch.
