I bought the Hohem for my Samsung s23 ultra. I returned it immediately. It overheated and shut off within one minute of turning it on. I tried it three times and three times it did the same thing. I just bought the OSMO Mobile 6 and it works great with my phone. It has not overheated. The app works with my phone. I know I can use it without the app, but I have not had a chance to check out that functionality as of yet. I am sure I will use that functionality because it shoots up to 4k but only goes so far as 30 fps. I hope this helps you.
Just returned my Smooth 5S for my S23 Ultra. I don't know what this ad video is talking about. The Smooth 5S cracked my phone the first time I put it inside the clamps. It was so tight it cracked both sides of my new phone's screen. I had no case on the phone and the clamps barely opened enough to fit inside. The shape of the clamps puts extra pressure on the screen. Also the apps the gimbal uses does not function properly for Android in general.. Just look at the App reviews in the app store.. 1 star lol. Save yourselves from my learning pains..
No way, how you can tell us, that Zhiyun Smooth 5S is good for Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra??? The normal App cannot handle the Camera with 4k and 60fps, only iPhone works great with the gimpel app.

I bought the DJI 6 this morning and returned for refund this evening. I have the S23U and the DJI app (Mimo) wouldnt let me record video above 4K @ 30fps
These reviews are BS. I have a Smooth Q3 and it barely works in my Note 20 Ultra 5G. These gimbals are not made for large phones like the Note and S Ultra series. I just upgraded to the S23 Ultra and with the case on, it's way too big for the Smooth q3 to handle. If you're not watching. It will get hung up and the gimbal turns off. So now I'm looking to upgrade to a gimbal that are large phone friendly.
I'm sorry but this video is completely useless! It doesn't say WHY any of these are "the best" for the S23 Ultra compared to others! You could have made this video and replace "S23 ultra" by any phone out there and it wouldn't make any difference! Pure shyte.

Please do a little more research before posting such videos. For example, I know that the DJI's are not fully compatible with the S23 ultra, or even the S21 and S22. So how can I trust this review that the other gimbals are compatible?

Yes. I tried the Hohem iSteady on my Samsung 23 ultra. It was an epic failure. It overheated within a minute and shut off. I waited for it to cool and tried again. Same thing. I waited longer for it to cool and tried a third time. Same deal. I now have 3 videos that are 7, 19, and 26 seconds long.

Look for Zhiyun to do a firmware update that will solve most of the S23U concerns. I use both the 5S and the S23U with Filmic Pro and have great results, albeit with a few workarounds. Don't underestimate Zhiyun!

The DJI Osmo Mobile 6 app works fine on my Samsung S23 Ultra. It is very user friendly and upon startup, it walks you through a tutorial (though I found this video helpful as well ruclips.net/video/VENAGLV9EJM/видео.html ). I would avoid the HOHEM at all costs. I bought that first and immediately returned it because within one minute of turning it on it overheated and shut off. It did that three times.
I cannot speak towards the OM 4SE, but I can say the DJI OSMO Mobile 6 and its app absolutely work on Samsung S23 Ultra. I have no issues. I hope this helps.
Change it. The motors don't have enough power to deal with that phone weight which means it doesn't do a good stabilisation, it may be jittery. And, in time, the motors will break shortly anyway.

Correct, I am returning my DJI unit. Not only was it totally terrible for android users but it was so chocked full of adds it was unusable. Also the fact that 99.9 of the features are locked out without using their own app makes the s23 unique camera not a good fit.
I'm still using the very first Zhiyun Smooth 1 up to this day and it's been 8 years already. Of course Zhiyun App couldn't support the newer version of Android in this era of phablets but it still does its job. I'm using it every week. I bought it for $50.

The Hohem M6 using the Hohem Joy App with the Samsung S23 Ultra actually uses all 3 Samsung main rear cameras, and can shoot video in 1080p 60FPS and 4K 60FPS. With the Cameras filming with the Hohem Joy App, choosing the 0.6 to 0.9 Zoom setting selects the Samsung Ultra Wide camera, 1.0 to 9.99 selects the Wide Camera and 10.00 to 84.0 selects the Telephoto camera module. I love the M6 because of these great features and the fact that the superb Hohem M6 AI Tracking module works perfectly with your S23 Ultra phone's native Camera App, alongside being able to shoot using the Gimbal shutter button..
Correct. DJI has very limited compatibility with Samsung phones, including limited or no support for 4K, 8K, zoom, focus and use with native camera apps. It's dishonest to suggest that DJI are compatible with S23U

I am trying to find the best gimbal, or best way to use my array of 4 lenses on my smartphone (Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra) with a gimbal (currently an DJO Osmo OM5) If zooming in with the gimbal it mostly uses digital zoom, which obviously has lousy resolution. Of course I would like it to instead use the kickass zoom and wide angle photographic lenses available on my phone instead How can I do this, or is there a gimbal that will allow my phone lenses to override the digital zooming through the gimbal?

None of these have been tested with the s23u. This is just a video ad for 5 different gimbals not specific to any phone.

The DJO Osmo Mobile 6 works with my Samsung S23 Ultra just fine with the app. I think they may have updated the software since you posted this.

Most of it will not work. Also the amount of adds and pop-ups make you feel like your using freeware not a fully purchaced item.

i have the Zhiyun smooth 5 not 5s, and its good i sometime use the app but rather use s23 ultra camera app and use the gimble for its motion

I just bought the DJI OM 4SE for my Samsung S23 Ultra and it does not work. The software will not even download to my phone.
I was able to connect and download. Had to go into settings to make an adjustment to trust dji.
I cannot speak towards the OM 4SE, but I can say the DJI OSMO Mobile 6 and its app absolutely work on Samsung S23 Ultra. I have no issues. I hope this helps.

I testest the Hohem Gimbal with Galaxy S21 Ultra. It`s a big phone why the S23 Ultra. The Gibmabl don`t work good.

It's NOT fully compatible. Zoom is horrible and slow motion does not work at all.
True. Even on the s24, its locked at 30fps and doesn't even use the better lenses.
Dji is shit if you have android. No manual settings like shutter speed for example.
