Hey man, think you did an excellent job on this video. One thing I would advise is to put music over and cut audio on tracks where youre trying to catch your breath. Wait till your breathing settles to record audio. Other than that, great job.

I had smooth 5(sold it- because of its heavy weight- good), and has Powervision S1 - interesting, but not professional. just recently bought DJI OM 6. In recent reviews, I watched(several) Hohem M6 looks like the best, probably a little heavier weight. Probably buy the next edition of Hohem. in the future, if there are no miracle ones in the future market.
You tested the Hohem iSteady M6 Kit, correct, its the tracking Ai Widget that is next class due to gesture control along with the fact you don't need any additional apps running it leaving the phones native camera app ( the most powerful ) able to do its job while the tracking , motorised of course is done exclusively by the gimbal. Have you noticed with a latest DJI MIMO app.. the follow speed of the gimbal defaults to FAST mode and you have to constantly reset it back to Medium or Slow every time you hit record??
It seems like you didn't use the DJI mimo app for the OM6. Otherwise you would have noticed it is not fully compatible with the S23 Ultra, not even with the S21 and S22. It doesn't support 8K and higher frame rates in other resolutions.
That’s correct. The app is not 100% compatible. As I mentioned in the video all gimbals suffer from that issue. I have a separate in depth test with Samsung ruclips.net/video/o4nedGpQQUQ/видео.html

i bought this setup for my S24 ultra (240 grams) with freewell 1.55x lens (140 grams) and its case (60 gram). It already tops the max. load of 400 grams. But i still need counterweights. Did you run into an issue like this by any chance?
I have an s23 ultra as well. I believe with most gimbals, you can use manual native camera from phone itself. The s23 ultra uses s pen as to take pics and videos. I too ordered a gimbal, a cheaper one coming in soon, that will be my plan since the s23 ultra has stabilization itself when recording video from home. The only downside is if you use apps to connect to gimbal, my worry is the resolution won't be as good compared to phones 8k 30fps. The good thing about the gimbal is you don't need the app, just to turn on stabilization from gimbal and use your own stock camera function from s23 ultra 👍
Ohh man. The phone is still doing the heavy lifting beacuse you didn't turn off stabilization in the phone, either by 3rd party app or modes that doesn't use it. Please try if available. Beautiful forest you have there.
I tested in a store, Zhiyun Smooth q3, q4, 5 and 5s. None of these devices, "NO" is bluetooth compatible with Samsung S23 Ultra. Maybe in the future Zhiyun will do a firmware update. Try before you buy!!!!

What's the issue with the manufacturers not being able to access the lenses? Is this an Android problem in general that cannot be fixed? Or is this an issue that is just present with current firmware or drivers?
I think it some android problem, or developers are lazy. Instagram has crazy issues with android camera but you also have programs like filmicpro where everything is great
Android terms wont let third party apps use the 100% of the cameras. I was gonna get the dji om but after seeing that problem, is just nonsense paying for a hardaware which functions depend on an app that doesnt work fully with you smartphone

@kristianmoore3723 I got the Hohem M6 but months later, the MT2 came out. So I gave M6 as a regift to family but pretended it was new, they'll never know. Get the MT2 if you have a camera you'd like to use for superior video capture.

Is any of them good for filming in vertical position? Questioning because I've seen everyone filming only in horizontal position. I need to film products and upload shorts, so I don't need to film in horizontally.

How did you connect S23 Ultra to ZHIYUN Smooth 5S Gimbal? I have one and follow the instructions of producer and S23 is not connect to it.
I connected it first manually. Turn the gimbal on after that go on the phone to Bluetooth devices > Pair it

With Hohem or Zhiyun not much. I could feel that the tilt motor is working but the gimbals were operating.

Unfortunately, it doesn't, it has the same restrictions as dji om6. You can access only 2 of the lenses

You just have to adjust the two axes manually. If you don’t have some crazy setup with lenses and mics you shouldn’t use counter weight
