Chris motionless said in an interview tht they were pop punkish in the beggining of it all I personally love it cause it shows more of how they used to be then wat they are I think it would be awesome if these songs were on their set list or if they played it every once in awhile

Motionless In White is fucking amazing... even from their roots. Even though, I personally think their earlier work can be classified as horror punk. So, I see this song made some of it's lyrics on the first version of Apocolips. I'm a huge fan, and I'm going to be seeing them in a week, and I'm really stoked!

@@raddog1478 my guy this and “Our Lady of Sorrow” could be played back2back and flow perfectly, it’s like Escape the fates “The Guillotine” play them all back2back and it flows despite different leads and time and even bands.

@@raddog1478 Man it never ends. People from all different metal/core/punk genres rip on bands for having influences from each other. It's always been annoying.

the “roses are red... a picture’s worth a thousand words” part is also in the original recording of Apocolips!
One thing about 2005-2010 Motionless is that they loved to re-use some of their lyrics in other songs lol. "11 tracks" was referenced in a song in the first version of When Love Met Destruction in She Never Made it to the Emergency Room if I recall correctly.
I think they reused a lot of their lyrics just simply because they liked them and tried to make their songs better and better.

@@raddog1478 Exactly. Back then, there were so many bands trying to get their name out there that they would upload shit to myspace, youtube, anywhere people could hear it.
MIW's sound back in 2005-2008 had so much damn passion without the high-quality studio recordings. Sure, it wasn't high quality but their sound and lyrics set them apart from other pop punk/horror punk bands at the time and the pilot crew for MIW in 2005 busted their ass to be heard.
I honestly think Creatures is their "9th symphony". They've made okay albums and a few decent tracks since then but Creatures was a masterpiece that they poured years of writing, experience, frustration, passion and effort into and it had the studio quality sound that really pushed them into the limelight at the time. It truly was a one of a kind album at the time and no other band had their sound and it set them apart and put them on the map for a lot of people.
Infamous rubbed a lot of the older fans the wrong way because it became more of a nu-metal type sound for many of the tracks, derivative of Slipknot and goth/grunge with some tracks, which was a pretty big far cry from their audience's taste after releasing a melodic/synth metalcore album like Creatures and in a music climate that was dominated by the core genre at the time. It gained them more mainstream/casual metal fans but pretty much everyone I know that listened to them from 05-10 pretty much stopped after Infamous was released.
This is pretty much when they played post-hardcore/horror punk it's technically a whinier AFI I guess

I think he said in an interview he always played guitar with his grandfather and he got a tattoo to commemorate his gramps for teaching him and to remember all of the time they spent playing.

Yup. 2005-2010 was the golden era for Motionless. Everything since then has been casual, over-produced junk for the most part. 570, Another Life, Eternally Yours, Masterpiece and Reincarnate are pretty much the only tracks worth listening to, but most of them are far away from where they started.
Only good album imo not trying to hate if you like their other stuff great.
