I have never owned, nor ever slept in a campervan, motorhome, fifth wheel or trailer of any sort. Any likely never will. However when a couple of years ago your channel somehow appeared and I clicked on it I was immediately hooked. I love the veichles and your contagious enthusiasm for them. Keep up the good work and I look forward to the next one!
Nice thing to travel around in if a couple and occasionally visitors. I know you like the colour as its the same as your SL400, my favorite colour for a car also. If I lived in the UK and had the spare cash I might just have one of these.
Agree with you on the wood - it's a nice and fresh interior. But my personal opinion is that four people is two too many for a van. I would happily sacrifice some of the seating space to enlarge the bathroom a foot or so. But that's probably just me.
This type of camper van in the US is currently insanely priced. I recently saw a 18’ camper van priced at 182k. I really like this van you just toured, reasonable price but unfortunately not available in the US. Motor homes generally in the US seem way over priced compared to the motor homes you review on your channel. Thanks Nick!
It's insanely priced here in the UK too - at £58,000 it might be reasonable for such a small Fiat-based design.Nice to see - at last - an interior that's not from the 1980s. They're getting there, slowly!
Agreed! Color is very nice, always better than just white, I think you may be a bit biased with that color! Very nice vehicle, excellent show once again sir!
I love the way British, South African and Australian people say 'mosquito'. They say it 'moss-key-toe', wheat in America we say mah-skeet-toe, or just skeeters if you're in the south. People from the Midwest pronounce 'ma-skeet-ahs'. Anyways...my ramblings for the day
The only vehicle i'd consider to replace my VWT6 LWB 4 sleeper, being the same length so can park anywhere. The back bed is so easy in this one. However VW engineering > Fiat so longevity would be much concern.
Hi Nick, I love your reviews of both vans and boats, I used own a Regal very similar to smugglers blues, I wonder if you have ever considered reviewing self build Campers, or doing meet the owner. It's interesting to compare the cost and standard of self builds to these professionally built vehicles.
That looks a lot like a Thor Scope in the US. This isn’t surprising because Thor bought Hymer and is incorporating a lot of Hymer’s innovations in their designs. The big difference is a Thor Scope 19’ on the very similar Dodge chassis has a MSRP of about $135,000. Which actually makes it one of the more reasonably priced B vans in America. I am not sure why US B vans are so much more expensive than their EU and UK counterparts.
Amazing how you look at a van so different when you’ve actually bought one. New owner here and I can see loads of problems with this van, advise to anyone thinking of buying, talk to current owners and not salesmen, this goes with dealers too.
I agree - sound advice. I’ve had my van for a year now and I have a different perspective on van reviews since then. So yes - talk to owners but also accept that the perfect van does not exist - all vans are a compromise. The key is to be certain what your priorities are and select accordingly.
Bug screens to stop the gnats from flying into your mouth & having to spit them out, as per V. Putin put it.😮 Nicely compact camper interior but not a Fiat fan at all. Good tour Nick thanks.
typical German type van though, sleeps 4 people carries 4 people but still barely enough cooking facilities for 1 let alone 2 people, if you are off mains power 1 ring for kettle, 1 ring for cooking everything else. I have tried it, and its just not good enough in a vehicle of that cost
I live in Florida and any RV you have selling in England there is 30 - 50% cheaper and 100% better than a similar option here!! Trust me! So y'all stop complaining about expensive there because that would be unkind of you!
I think it's just you! Speaking to me from Jamaica and Florida, if you saw this in Fort Myers at or Tampa at LazyDays you need at least $130,000.00 for this! So give thanks for what you have there!
Don’t see the point of a pop top on such a small van. It weighs about 100kg and robs you of any payload as well as making the living area very dark - unless you travelled stupidly light, there’s no way that van would take 4 people and their luggage and still be legal. A compact van like this is great for 2
Oh my goodness, Motoholic a mile from my house !!! In the presence of royalty, nearly. Sad I missed an opportunity to say hello ! Xx
Great funky little vehicle, just right for two.

Nick is like an contagion, but in a good way! More of a sensation!
That's great for traveling and your don't want to play for a hotel. Thank you. Nick
You're very welcome! 🙂
As my aura is blue, I can't help but love this one, not just the colour but the whole package is great. 👍💙🇬🇧
I think you really like the two side operating fridges .

Hi Nick. I'm stiĺl amazed with the dual opening fridge. Like the blue paint and interior colours. Great walkthrough video thanks 😊
Thanks for watching!
If I was brave enough to try out van life, and had a spare 78k, this would be an ideal road home.
I enjoyed watching the Video Review. I particularly like the Blue Paint Colour on the exterior 😊
Glad you liked it! 🙂
Brilliant Nick - thank you!
My pleasure!!
Many years ago I had a car very close to that color. Color on the camper van is a little bit more vibrant. Very nice
Lovely small motorhome and good video nick ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👍👍👍👍👍👍
Glad you enjoyed it 🙂

@@MOTAHOLIC Clarification bias meaning there are only two colors for a Mercedes Blue or Black! Excellent choice sir!
Looking Dashing Nick Sir 😍

Great tour thank you of a fab van, very well designed, would definatly love this
Glad you enjoyed it 🙂

Ooo I like that.

78k !
There's certainly some markup on these vans

Hi! I’m about to buy one of these! Could you tell me what problems did you see? Maybe an expert eye can help me to evaluate the van more accurately.
Love that one
I actually love this compared to Hymer d basf. Offers a lot more flexibility.
Bug screens to stop the gnats from flying into your mouth & having to spit them out, as per V. Putin put it.😮 Nicely compact camper interior but not a Fiat fan at all. Good tour Nick thanks.
Hello sir may I know the length of the vehicle please???
Gonna have to get my eyes tested. For a moment I thought that's a terrible name for a camper van. An "n" can look like an "r".

👍
Why are the tires so small??
They're not, they're the standard size of every Fiat Ducato van, motorhome and everything else.
what was that big black box on the floor in the 'garage' area?
It is a gas grill.I went back and looked closer.
@@bryduhbikeguy ah! that makes sense. thanks for the info

78k for a converted fiat panel van???? That will be 40k for the van and the rest for the "Hymer" badge and the legendary fiat reliability then....😉😉

Great van, really well designed
Is it just me or is 78K an insane amount of money for a small van??
I think it's just you! Speaking to me from Jamaica and Florida, if you saw this in Fort Myers at or Tampa at LazyDays you need at least $130,000.00 for this!

You don't get much for £78,000!
Prix délirant 😢
Very expensive!
It’s very nice, but not £78k wow overpriced
This is way over priced
Over priced buy 20 k....why not buy a second hand never new over priced
this is ridiculously overpriced. its just a van with a fridge, some storage boxes and a matress
