I started late with my skin care… and even until now, my skin care regimen is very simple… one thing I need to add I think is a thicker toner…

I've gone through periods where it was very simple and then it goes into something complicated...it's always changing 😍

We have similar skin (I think). I didn't start with skincare until I was in my late 30s. Except for Sea Breeze - speaking of toners. Remember that? I used to use that to take my makeup off and I'd just go to bed. No cleanser. No moisturizer. Nothing. No wonder I had cystic acne until my late 30s! Thin layers is definitely the way to go! I need to try some Korean products - I hear so many good things. The double cleanse is 100% necessary!

Hey Emy! I am a huge skin care supporter and I love both Korean and Japanese skin care. I own and have owned many of the products that you shared and they are wonderful! I enjoyed this video and will definitely watch them if you do more. Plus I think you are gorgeous. Your hair, makeup and outfits are always on point.

I also love skincare and it sounds like our interests (Korean products) and skin type may be pretty similar (I am oily with the occasional acne break out)! I usually am always buying new products I haven't tried before as I love trying out new brands, but recently just repurchased the Youth to the People cleanser as you're right, it's actually just excellent and I love a pump dispenser (so much easier for a second cleanse product when you already have wet hands from the oil cleanse!). I've previously had the I'm From Rice Toner and loved that too. I basically try almost all I'm From products as they're one of my favourite Korean brands, my next first cleanser will be their Fig Oil one and I can't wait (finishing up Farmacy balm currently).

Thanks for the recs! I used a vitamin C serum that made my skin red, which I didn't think was good so I stopped. It was also discoloring my pillow cases. I've stopped buying perfume for a while so this year I'd really like to puchase some Guerlain skin care because the samples they've sent (when I bought perfume) were awesome. Loved them, but they're expensive. Great video!

I tried a few Guerlain samples in the past, they have lovely products, but so expensive 😍

Thank you very much Emy, very interesting. I've only dipped my toes in Korean skincare so your recommendations are very helpful. I get a prescription retinoid and niacinamide cream which is very effective for pigmentation and wrinkles but can be drying as a downside. I use some Ordinary and Facetheory too. I rotate gentle cleansers (non-foaming) For toner I always use rosewater. More videos on skincare would be great😃

I loved this too! Fragrance, makeup, skincare, I’m here for it! We have some overlap because I’ve gotten into the Korean brands lately and Stylevana is great. Coincidentally I just ran out of The Ordinary copper peptide serum and I’ll be repurchasing for sure. It’s my third bottle of it and I think it’s helped brighten my skin also. Thanks Emy! Love your content.

Agreed and the new Theramid 3% copper peptides that the wonderful lady at RUclips No BS Beauty channel recommends is game changing too! Its a bit pricier than The Ordinary one, but sometimes they do flash sales and especially at black Fri it's great 🙌 xx
