Fantano is far from my favorite person on the internet, but every once in a while I'm really happy he's around to show me stuff like this. I would have gone my whole life without ever hearing a Richard Dawson song without fantano's praise. I love both albums I've heard, Ogre is a genuine banger, and I'm always happy when I can start a day of work with a fresh and unique album to listen to. This is now an artist I'll be watching for years and years to come. On a more cynical side note, it feels super weird to watch my music taste get shaped by a professional reviewer. I don't know how to discover music that well, I'd say 1/4th of new artists I really like come from fantano directly, which just feels wrong.

Only came across Richard through Ogre being played on Radio 6 last week, now I'm totally hooked; what brilliant stuff he brings to the world.
