Honestly, around the 6-8 month mark is when my husband and I were struggling too. So many sleepless nights, teething pain from our son, starting solids, crawling... it's all so much at once and it's a lot to go through. I love how Tom handled it, and that's exactly what you should do. We often stopped amidst the chaos and said, "hey, I know we're not on the same page right now, but we are a team and we're in this together. And just a reminder, I love you." It really helped. Well, children don't need to be breast-fed after 6 months. That's when doctors say it's ok to stop since they can start some solid foods and milk isn't as uaeful as it was in the first 6 months. Generally, it's recommended 6 months, up to a year at most. After that, it's just an emotional response, it tires mother too much and milk at that point isn't any better than regular foods

It's so weird how I started watching your videos and vlogs about 6-7 years ago while I was at one of the lowest points in my life, going through a break up, working an awful job... watching your videos while having dinner made me feel less alone. Now I'm 26, wrapping up my 4th semester in medschool, happier. Time really does fly. Cheers from the other side of the world! Ensenada, Baja California. Mexico ✨
I love how Tom went from Elbowsan, to being known as Tom. To watch you two grow and blossom in your relationship and then to watch you two become parents, has been the most amazing thing. You two have grown and prospered before our eyes and it's such a lovely thing to see. I love that Rosie is still a huge part of the family and that her relationship with Levi has gotten better! He's gotten so big and my heart just can't handle it!
Tom is such a good husband and father I’m so glad you guys have each other. You have a beautiful family and you’re an amazing mother I love watching how much you’ve grown and seeing all the great things you’ll do ❤️
I just lost my Thumbelina at 12 years old. She was exactly like Rosie, except apricot instead of ginger. She got heart failure. We did everything we could. I am happy that I can see Rosie because she reminds me so much of Thumbelina.
I’m sorry for your loss. My Foxy cat passed away in 2020 after 20 yrs. it’s an empty spot in my heart that will always be there. Because the love was so deep
Levi's smile and laugh is the best thing in the world. I loved how Rosie was just waiting for you and wagging her little tail after Levi went to bed. So sweet!
It gets to us when 'new' and already mommas say they feel or are scared that their bad moms. No honey your baby is happy smiling and laughing and has a roof over their head you're doing the best you can and thats all you can do
It's important to remember that there is only one of you each doing so many things. They say it takes a village to raise a child. Speaking of little ones oh my Levi is such a handsome boy!! Sending lots of love and hugs to you all including weeny Rosie ♡♡♡
Thanks for being so honest about the struggles! Having children can be a incredible challenge and sleep deprivation can have everyone on else, and I'm so glad you're not sugar coating. If we are mentally prepared for the challenges ahead, and it can everyone put things into perspective ☺️
Awwww. The fact that Tom brought those trainers 10 years ago makes me ❤. And it’s true, in that moment you feel the 😮💨 but in the future when you look back you do only remember the good and easy times. You remember it being hard but it’s overshadowed by the joy.
watching your videos all these years has really helped me change my perspectives about a lot of things. when i feel like i need to be a better person, i think of you, and how honest and open and bright you are.
Having kids can definitely make or break a relationship. Some people have kids to “save” marriage but it can have the total opposite effect. Patience, understanding and communication are key for sure.
16:15 I feel like this is such an important thing Taylor said here!! It's hard not to cry hearing this, it's so true (at least for little things that can be turned into a laugh and not a stressful situation)
Boy or boy Rosie knew it was her time. She was standing out there waiting for you how cute. Made me choke up I thought well that’s her first baby how sweet
I had a poodle before, she was the best dog ever, loving and happy, everyone in the neighborhood loves her…. She have a long life, 18 years together and even now, after 15 years from her passing, we always remember her as it was here yesterday.
Love how Tom handled that. “We are on the same thing” was one of the biggest take aways my husband and I got from a marriage group we were in several years before we even had kids. We’ve needed the reminder much more after having kids. Just absolutely drains everything out at time and inhibits conflict resolution 😣 I’ve found it gets easier as you get past the sleep troubles (I do poorly with sleep deprivation) but we still need to be very intentional with our relationship
Levi is such a big boy, I wonder how he fits into the local percentiles given his mixed heritage. And having a new baby is always a challenging time for a marriage as there is no downtime and so much love and energy goes to the baby and it's stresses.
This is the perfect update, I love seeing the family grow and change together. I love how you care for Ms Rosie alongside Levi and roll with the changes. It’s inspiring to see you adapt to life so well. I love your content and I am happy to watch whatever form you post. ❤
Im pregnant with my first child, and watching this channel and your whole journey has really put me at ease with being a new mom. Everyone tells you its the worst and that your life is going to suck. They try to scare you. But your easy and calm energy has only made me excited, and made me confident that i can do this and love every second of it; the good the bad and the stinky!
That's Terrible that people around you say those things! Motherhood is definitely challenging but it doesn't make your life suck! Some days might be hard and can suck but those days are nothing compared to the good ones you will have!
The little sneakers Tom bought 10 years ago really got me.. So happy his dream of his own son wearing them is coming true :) I'm also glad he participated in the halloween costume this year. All of you looked adorable and I bet it's such a nice memory to have down the line. Seeing you guys rock as a family makes my rough days better, so thanks

Can’t believe how big Levi has gotten. Just remember when she was getting help with lady and Levi was newborn. Rosie such a cute dog . Halloween costumes were so cute .
Wow I must be emotional because the first 3 minutes of this made me tear up because it related so much to my life right now. I have an 8 month old baby boy and my family is experiencing the exact same issues, teething, sickness, lack of sleep and I was constantly thinking to myself how is my relationship with my husband going to last when we are barely surviving getting through the day! Thank you for opening up Taylor, I feel like the universe wanted me to watch this video 🥰

You have became a beautiful mom how you are taking care of your son. I like how you let the baby wake up & spend time with himself playing before needing you. It helps him be independent, growing secured being himself alone for a little while & not being in a panic mode when he's alone for a little while in his crib. Hope you have a wonderful week!✌️👍🤗💖
My baby is 4 months old and I love watching the parallels of baby life with you and Levi! I totally agree that babyhood is full of ebbs and flows, and that stress puts such a strain on married relationships. It's awesome to see your growth as a mom and it always reminds me that babies can progress/regress but life keeps on going and we learn how to manage it!
So glad your family is doing well. Life is changing and challenging but as Tom and you grow there will always be ups and downs. Giving yourself and each other Grace is key. May you have a blessed rest of the year!

I really loved what you said at the end of the video about how when you look back on these memories you will only remember being together and none of the hectic or stressful things that were happening at the time. I thought that was really sweet and a lovely way to think about this time. If I ever have a family one day, I want to make time like this for them. I want to put in the effort to do things together even when it is difficult, because like you said, those are the things that you'll remember. Just as a lack of time spent with loved ones leaves a painful memory instead.

Totally agree!! Communication is key. We just adopted two girls we were placed with a year ago. It was tough, but we’re now more settled and in a better flow!
We have baby after 2 years of marriage. Everything changes. The priority is always baby for everything. Glad we delayed the baby after marriage. So we get much more quality time as couple.

Beautiful Taylor. You’re absolutely right. It will be over before you know it and no, you won’t remember the hard stuff (or at least you’ll be able to look back and laugh). It will be no time before Levi will be ok on his own. Enjoy this stage while it lasts. I also think you’re doing a magnificent job with Rosy. Wish there was a kit like that for my beloved Maxie (kitty). Can’t wait for your next one. ❤❤
Everything changes after having a baby but it can be such a great opportunity for personal growth! These moments are so precious and what you said is true, we tend to forget the struggles and remember the sweet happy memories :)
The first two years as first time parents are the hardest on a relationship! It’s like two completely different people trying to work together all over again… but it gets much better once the freaking out over everything subsides 🤣

Tom's such a great partner. Were I not ace I would want a partner exactly like him. Even when he's like, "Babe...", you can tell he adores Taylor and will do almost anything to make her happy.
Your videos are such a comfort you’re and honest vlogger and always show your most authentic self. I’m glad you’ve chosen to continue on RUclips after becoming a parent it can’t be easy finding the time, it’s so lovely to have been able to be a part of your journey.

Ugh I can’t wait for the next update …Levi and Rosie really warms my heart ♥️
So awesome you guys managed to talk and learn to work as a team as I hate when the mother is left alone to ddo it all
Awe Rosie is such a little sweetheart 💕
Oh my gosh that little outfit Tom dressed him in ❤️ also I could not stop laughing when you were dressing everyone on their Halloween outfits, such a highlight 🙌🙌
You are so right. Having kids is tough sometimes and my husband and I are always busy just doing the bare minimum. But I will always look back in this time and feel joy that we were all together ❤
Levi's laugh is so contagious ❤ Also loving that pink knit tank on you!
Always honest and relatable! We always appreciate that. The Halloween costumes were THE CUTEST! Cannot wait to see your Christmas videos in Canada with your family!
OMG Tom is so adorable and what a great sport doing the costumes. You guys are a perfect family and I am so very happy for you!
Levi is growing and he’s adorable. Dim sum family is cuttteee!
Yay, I love your DITL/VLOG style videos so much! I also love to hear you talking about your thoughts on life and change. You’re such a wise and kind-hearted person! Thank you for sharing 💕 🌈 💜
Levi is the cutest n happiest baby ever, love watching him grow, wish you'd post vlogs of him juz thriving n developing, like an assorted snippets of him juz laughing n interacting with y'all on the daily! Keep rocking Taytay!
Totally agree!! Communication is key. We just adopted two girls we were placed with a year ago. It was tough, but we’re now more settled and in a better flow!
You have blossomed into a wonderful family, all the trials and tribulations will be in the past and will only make you stronger and more whole.
We have baby after 2 years of marriage. Everything changes. The priority is always baby for everything. Glad we delayed the baby after marriage. So we get much more quality time as couple.
You are such a caring person, it is lovely to see these videos. Very soothing :)
Levi so big already, so cute!
Thank you for posting this! I was battling Postpartum and this really just resonated with me on the Ebs and flow moments in life I needed to hear that. Sending positive vibes from Ontario , Canada ☺️
This ad is probably the best one yet... poodle Rosieeeeee 😅😅😅
Dogfluencer 🐶✨
Its very hard. I don't think people understand, they think it brings you closer and it does but it can also test your relationship. Your doing great mama
Babies do change a lot. Expectations change. Needs/want change. Sometimes it takes re-prioritizing things and re-calibrating with each other.
Loved it! You look beautiful, you can see how much fun you and Tom are having with Levi being new parents. Love that your always so honest and Rosie is adorable as always 💖
Your husband is such a sport! Hold on to that guy, even when the relationship ebbs. He's a good one.
Tip from a grandma (age 64), seal foil over turkey when you put it back in oven. It will keep moisture in and help meat to cook through. Sending you love!
Her husband really supportive.
I think your lives have changed gradually, Miss Taylor, as it makes you feel happy with Levi time after time.
Levi is so adorable! You and Tom are wonderful parents! Thank you for posting this video 🙂 I enjoyed it!
Your videos bring me so much joy because its so genuine and being able to be part of your journey is just kind of magical! Thanks for keeping us in the loop! You're never a failure taytay! You're doing great!
YOUR baby IS ABSOLUTELY ANGELIC
