What a voice. I don't know any other rock vocalist who has been able to maintain such a high standard for so long. The only evidence of the passage of time in his voice is that his technique has been honed to perfection. He's going down as one of the greatest rock vocalists of all time.
It must be an incredible feeling to know that you have wrote a song that will be played for generations... that you have left your fingerprint on earth.
Man this is a powerful song. I pushed my wife of 18 years away due to my alcoholism. She was always there to take care of me and she finally had enough. This song is hard to listen to without tearing up.
Love never truly goes away. Depending on the circumstances it is either clouded by hurt, untrust pain, memory pain or broken heartache. All can be mended if you can show the person, you are no longer the person you turned into and more of the person they originally fell in love with. I hope it works out for you mate.
