I say he's not going to leave. He has praised Prime over and over again and talked about how much he loves him and how he changed his life. He seems like a loyalty guy to me. Not only that he has young children, I cannot imagine that his wife is going to be okay with the kids changing schools every year. If they're homeschooled, that's a whole nother issue
There is no doubt that his contract contains a clause stating that if the NFL wants him, there does not have to be a buyout. It will be a promotion so no buyout. This happens a lot.

Of course Prime will hate to lose staff, but Prime understands the game; this is not the first or the last staff member that will depart. Money, titles, and positions are great, but an excellent work environment is also critical. As long as Prime treats his staff with respect and makes the work environment a great situation, we will always have qualified coaches wanting to work for the CU football program.

CU had a lot of great defensive players and most of the time they looked great, but they were exposed by Kansas and BYU. Robert Livingston will have to add a little scheming to his do what you do best defense. What’s the back up plan when that doesn’t work?

I stand corrected. However he was well thought of as a great coach with the DB when the defense was playing well. They did not want him to leave. He would be a cheaper hiring then more well known DC. I don’t think they will do it. They will want more experience. But being under Lou has no bearing on if they would want him.

I disagree. Coaches do not play between the lines. Its about execution and personnel, Livingston can call the right play or have the right scheme, but if the players don't execute their assignments or he doesn't have the right personnel, then what can the coach do?

Rob Livingston signed a 2 year contract with the buffs so he is under contract with the buffs for 1 more year
