Darlene, I have to share this testimony. I will try to be brief. About a year ago as I was selecting the songs for our Graduation service, I was so blessed by this song and I chose this for our worship sequence. Although the content is so very different for an occasion such as this, I was so convinced to select this song. The Worship leader was very reluctant to sing as he was not really sure of the starts of the lines (timing) so I ended up singing with him leading the choir. As we sang the song, we could sense a mighty anointing of the Lord. People were really blessed!
As I sang the song, least did I realise that I was fighting death in my own body. barely two weeks later I was diagnosed almost accidentally that I was carrying a very advanced stage of aneurysm of the aorta. It could rupture any moment!! To cut a long story short, God miraculously intervened. I was operated on Mondy Thursday, rolled into the ITU (which I have reasons to describe as a tomb!) later that night and Praise God, on Easter Sunday morning, I was taken to the ward to join my family in a thanksgiving service.
I will live; I will not die; I will declare and lift you high; Christ revealed and I am healed in Jesus' name! In Jesus' name! In Jesus' name! In Jesus' name!

How crazy that this song was written a few months before you were diagnosed with breast cancer, like singing and declaring this song was straight away followed by a huge test of your faith! Praise God for His healing. ♥♥♥

I remember the first time I heard this song I was at a ladies conference, I knew it was going to be an anthem for the believer. 7 years later, it’s still one of my favorite songs to song and dance to. I came here to hear the story behind it and got teary eyed because Darlene is so anointed to sing and Israel is an anointed song writer. To God be the glory!

Wow, wow, wow. First time I listen to this song was in my language, an ok song I said, but I wanted more, too see and find the story behind the song, and there it was. I had several people die because of cancer in my family, but this song is so powerful. Listening to the original version, to be honest first impression was the passage from Bible with the chosen people at the walls of Jericho. There they shout the name of God, now you shout the name of Jesus. I will definitely use this song in worship next Sunday! Thank you and God bless you!

The Father calls each of us Darlene and having met you when you first went to hillssong I know you are a humble lady and obedient to our Heavenly Father. But jesus is not His name not the Name the Father gave Him .... so maybe that is why we are Not seeing those Greater things done... because we should be calling on Yahusha Messiah His Birth Name. The Fathers name YHWH Yahuah in the Son Yahusha or Yah is Salvation. Remember we love to Praise dont we ??? HalleluYah all praise to Yahuah :) :)
While it's lovely and interesting to study the ancient words, God sees our heart and He knows that we mean Him when we pray to Him as "Father God" or just "God", and Jesus knows that we mean Him when we say "Jesus". I don't think God is so small that He is limited by contemporary language. I have personally been healed when people prayed "be healed in the Name of Jesus". They did not use "Yahusha Messiah" or any other ancient Hebrew or Aramaic name. I also know many, many people who have experienced miraculous, supernatural healing and miracles when prayers were said "in Jesus' Name". It's not about language details, it's about faith. If we have a mustard seed of faith, we can speak to mountains to be moved, and they move. When we are obedient to the voice of the Holy Spirit, and pray as He leads us, we always see miracles. I am living proof of that.
