This is a really interesting video :) I think it's impressive how fast some foreigners learned to speak Korean 👍 I've been watching your videos for a while now and I really like the content of the videos 😄 Keep it Up! Oh but one thing: the German flag is black red yellow, not red black yellow 🤔😄
That is such a German answer haha. A lot of students here learn Latin as a second foreign language (after English) because we are always told "Do Latin first, the rest will be easier then" and since a lot of German students learn a third foreign language and that's mostly either French or Spanish, it makes sense. Personally, I started English in 3rd grade (as everyone does and most people have to do it until the end of 12th or 13th grade, so until graduation, then took Latin from 5th grade to 10th grade (to get my Latin certificate (Latinum)), took French in 8th and 9th grade because I had to do an elective and didn't want to do additional science classes and then took Spanish from 10th to 12th grade (because my school didn't offer Spanish for lower grades but I had been wanting to do it all along. So in 10th grade I took English, Latin and Spanish classes and I knew a few kids in my grade who were doing English, Latin, French and Spanish at the same time. Until a few years ago, you actually needed to have the certificate for several majors in university and if you didn't have it, you'd have to do it in a very short time in university (whereas in school you do it over the course of like 5 years). That was true for anything to do with languages (like even if you wanted to become an elementary school English teacher, you had to have taken 5 years of Latin), history and things like medicine but I think they pretty much abolished that for most of these (although I'm not sure about history...).
One thing that I keep noticing in your videos and thought I would mention--한국말 should actually be pronounced like "한궁말." There's a nasalization sound change on the ㄱ when it's followed by ㅇ.
I learn english now and i can speak german and Korean. I think that your viedeo is so good for foreigner. I wonder always how many people speak to korea and why they want to learn Korean. so this video is so interest !
I am too scared of making mistakes when I speak and that is what is holding me back from progressing. I feel that I am around a level 2.4 when it comes to speaking and understanding korean (between beginner and intermediate beginner). I could understand 75 percent of what was happening without translation but I would have never answered in Korean because of the risk of sounding stupid or saying something incorrectly. (Does anyone have any advice that would help?)
Do the interviewees explicitly know that your classifying their Korean ability using this 'system' ? And what exactly is the rubric? I think it's nice to see forgeinors in Korea speak Korean so well because they are so few, but grading their korean levels I could be totally wrong ! I know Koreans are really happy to see these videos so there great ! I'm trying to understand the perspective. And what would you rank yourself ?? I think your Korean is really good !
I think it would be good to put some excited musics in the video so people wouldn't be bored of watching this video RUclipsrs tend to put those musics in during interview and when I see them, they have a lot of subscribes So I want you to have a lot of things as well Plz put some excited musics in every videos It is not what I want I just want a lot of ppl to watch ur video
You're not the only one who felt old when she said she was born in 2000! I remember celebrating the millennium like it was yesterday! Great video, wish I could've bumped into you when I was in Korea a few weeks ago >.
Korea is the place to be, not Japan. This is why more and more foreigners are coming to Korea. Japan andChina do not have the same level of interest. Korea is fun. Lotte World and Kpop. I wish you interview moreCanadians that speak Korean. Especially people from Vancouver.
BTS ARMY No, its only +2 years if ur birthday hasnt come yet. If you're born in 2001, you're 17yo in korea, but in internacional age you may be 15 or 16, it depends on your birthday date. Because, you're born with 1 year old, you only will be 2 in 2002 and in 2017, you're 17. I hope you can understand me (btw, your english is fine, dont worry)
Bruh, this isn´t the flag of germany...
Hope Yumin's No the German is black red and gold 😂

Kathy I've been watching kdramas and K-pop songs for almost three years now and I can't even say anneonghaseyo properly.
I thought that girl born in 2000 would be older than me but she's a year younger 😱

That girl from Hong Kong is friggen adorable AF...
That German guy is obviously very bright...
