Just once in a while something hits you like a sledgehammer and you stop for a moment and think omg what was that, this was one of those moments, absolutely stunning period.

I’ve heard the original was a warning about what could happen and Disturbed’s version is anger at what has happened

Other than Johnny Cash's version of "Hurt", this is the best cover I've ever heard.

Good call; there are very few moments where the original artist gives this much respect. Simon said this is better, and Trent admitted Cash's Hurt is better.

The Drums are Called Timpeny Drums or some People call them Kettledrums, Cause they
look just like a Cooking Pot or Kettle.

You should listen to the original by Simon and Garfunkel. Also are you asking about kettle drums, the big ones that sort of look like a big kettle or cooking pot?

    Tympani' =
kettledrums, especially when played by one musician in an orchestra. These drums can be tuned to match the key in which the music is being played.

I was amazed by the vocal performance here. But sadly, I saw a live concert performance of this same song and you can definitely here some major off key differences in the other live version

To be fair, in this David was very sick, and he chose to go along with this performance anyways. So there is probably where you're hearing the differences. One is a sick David, one isn't

@@dj11o9er reported that he had flu like symptoms and that stool he is stilling on was to help him to get through the performance else he wouldn't been able to stand through it.
