with the third skull theres an easier way in as soon as your out of the main gate there is a watch tower inside there is a spartan laser this can one shot the pheaton
For the Iron Skull, when shooting down the Phaeton, you'll hear the sound of children cheering just like when you get a headshot on grunts with the IWHBYD Skull. I thought this might help people in case they feel they didn't successfully shoot down the Phaeton.
@Schallhorn M i had a rage fit myself 😅(no swearing tho lol). I eventually found a much easier way. Probably the way they actually intended for you to go. I made a comment explaining it if you'd like to know.
With the mythic skull, there's a MUCH easier way with less precision. Get to the top of the pillars in front of you by going up the rubble slope. Make your way to the last pillar(the one before the platform the skull is on). Run and jump across, and if you didn't jump far enough to have a normal landing, use the jet pack to get a little farther, and use the ground pound last second and you'll land on the edge. The one you're showing was too difficult for me. I was raging over it 😅
The way you get the mission 8 Mythic skull is damn near impossible. First the climb up is no joke, you tend to fall off 9 out of 10 times. Then while on that little bit of rock it's damn near impossible to sprint since you have zero space to do it in. Right next to the skull platform is a larger ruin that is much easier to climb up, gives you more room for a running start, and I am fairly sure is the intended route to get to that skull.
i suck ass at parkour and i was able to snag this one on try 3 once i found the sweet spot. if you have done a lot of halo parkour before, this is easy

+WHITEOUTbomber8 13 Skulls gave you the hayabusa helmet. The katana and the security armor though got unlocked for 1000 GS (all vanilla chievos) . You're right. Since everyone used the hayabusa with the katana my brain messed up and thought katana is the normal hayabusa chestpiece edit: Halo 3
Fyi, for genesis, it's the second lightbridge, the one that leads to the warden fight... or maybe it is the first. I cannot remember honestly. Either way, the skull is in the first warden boss arena

Which skulls require steps? I'm trying to find them on my own (I haven't watched the video) but I gave up on Glassed and I'm seeing that it has steps to it? Not it just being hidden somewhere? I spent three god damn hours looking for it because I thought it'd just be hidden in a secret room like the first two. I want to know what I'm actually looking for, so I'd just like to know which ones are like Glassed (I can't watch video cos I don't want to spoil it).

But I researched that it's located possibly in 3 areas. "1. straight ahead on some rocks below the event by a fence, 2. back on top of where you got the scorpion behind a canister 3. underneath some rocks by block crates which is just to the side of the scorpion location. "
I couldn't get the 6th skull after shooting the traffic cones. I think it might be because an enemy shot the 4th cone :/ Can this be confirmed for why the skull wasn't there?
+ArcticW0lf21 After reloading a few times because I wasnt making good time. I noticed an enemy must have destroyed my third cone because I heard the cheer and it wasnt there like it usually had been. However....I cant get the 5th cone because its not there. I thought this might be time related or something but no because if I purposely miss the 4th and waste time it remains there. I have no idea why my 5th one is gone...
Mythic Skull is easier to get if you jump up the pillars in the direction the skull is looking. its actually the one and only skull that i found on my own during my first playthrough. lol

Do you unlock armor for getting this achievement? I remember in Halo 3 you get the Hayabusa set for getting all the skulls.

the easiest way to do Iron is to grab the splaser at the top of the tower right after you clear the area outside of the space elevator

I scaled the right side for tough luck with a ghost!
Shot all 5 pylons and skull still didn't show up. Saved the checkpoint at the end and have scan every spot of that section and no skull.
With the #3 iron skull it was easier to use the Spartan laser
I'm glad I managed to found the mayority of skulls by myself but damn, there are 3 that are literally hided in the ass of the map.

+aneurysm huile de colza you have to do the "challenge" in UNDER 2 minutes to get the 5th cone to appear. Good Luck.
