      It's not that absurd. I don't know the scene you are referencing, I don't care to watch Euphoria, but the idea that cartels, gangsters, mobsters, crime syndicates etc would give a rats about children isn't so simple as they would just stop shooting. Sometimes dead children is the point, sometimes they don't care.

    Found this video a bit misleading through no fault of his, his comments were excellent but in most of the shows he chose (or were chosen for him), they didn't depict actual drug trafficking techniques. The Wire showed tailing/surveillance, Sabotage and Euphoria showed entry of law enforcement, Blow showed essentially a job interview, the Breaking Bad clip showed how the drug was made, Narcos didn't show any trafficking, only cartel retribution/warning and Ozark showed money flow in the drug business
    For Narcos, I'd have chosen the things that depicted how they transported the drugs to the US. Hiding them in shoes, fish, plant pots, stuck to the outside of transport ships etc, for Breaking Bad, they could have shown how they packed bags of meth into buckets with chicken fat to avoid dogs smelling it or putting it into the body of the truck under the floor boards.

      "Sabotage" came out in 2014-- by that time, fentanyl was very much a part of the illegal drug scene in the US. Also, Fentanyl has been around since the 1960s.

    They purposely made the process vague in Breaking Bad. What does he want, the show to teach people how to cook meth?

    • @doc-holliday-
      @doc-holliday- 2 года назад +14

      Yea all you need to know is that they straight up taught bryan cranston how to cook meth for real, so anything vague is obviously on purpose. Also he mentioned the gloves which he was wearing when he needed to. So wasn't really a good breakdown of the show.

      Also, if I’m not mistaken at that point he thought he was gonna die so it didn’t matter much to him, but at that point he also cared for his family. Later in the series he goes full yellow suit.

    At 5:00 the Statement is Not fully correct. As a Chemist you use gloves very sparingly and mostly just for cancerogenic sunstances. Mist Chemist are actually of the opinion that you shouldnt wear gloves for the sake of better feel and precision

    • @tophilactic
      @tophilactic 2 года назад +11

      I'd have to disagree. As a chemist that values my tissues, I'd wear gloves for most substances, not just the one group you mentioned. There are numerous acids/bases, oxidizers, and various poisons that gloves would protect against too.

    in reference to sabotage. Shooting a person in back after they just emptied a magazine in the wall would have been justified. The dude was literally running for cover. Also the whole point of Arnold giving an impromptu briefing was to show how outside of the law they were acting. It was kind of the point.

    Not sure I understand his comment on the AK guy.. some bad guy shooting at you with a full auto AK doesn’t need to be facing you for you to use deadly force. Shooting him in the back as he runs while reloading is perfectly justified. You think we’re going to wait until he reloads and faces us to drop him?..
