- I played guitar for Steve Strange's new romantic pop band Visage for several years. Every gig was an adventure and this was no exception. Steve passed away in 2015, and we miss him. X
Such magic tunes! I had just been feeling down, with the boring burdens of life, when this music came up on my I - Phone. Then I realised if you just ignore all that routine boring stuff, and listen to such music, then suddenly everything is great, how it SHOULD be! Thank you, VISAGE!
I really miss Steve Strange.

What a lovely memory - Steve was one of the good guys for sure . I’m sorry you had to go through this - It’s really tough losing an iconic frontman and friend who you’ve shared the road with I know that pain too sadly .

Thanks Ross.. yes a dramatic experience.. no soundcheck..! ..we were just 'wheeled out' in front of a crowd of 7000. I enjoyed The Cult and Karl Bartos who were also on the bill, and Alan Wilder from Depeche Mode who shared the mini-bus with us, you can see him briefly at 16:35. We had fun with The Mission and Gene Loves Jezabel :-) Steve Strange choreographed great clothes that arrived just in time, plus fantastic hair and make up from Issidora & Ninotchka Bee Bee.. so sad that he is no longer with us.. RIP forever x

This was wonderful to watch!! I had a little bit of a hard time when it showed concert footage, knowing that I never got to hear him in concert and now never will.

This was a wonderful video. Thank you. Even though I grew up in the 80s, I just now discovered Steve Strange. Although, I do remember a couple songs by them. For some strange reason, Mr. Strange has been on my mind. I don't know why. I do think he's in the next world being his usual creative self. Take care. God Bless.
To 80's time again. Hi from Nygel. Actually, I study things as the present, and afterlife! You know that expression "Don't Speak I 'll of The Dead? I'm convinced that people go on in an afterlife anyway - because I'm a spiritualist. People DO go on, just in a DIFFERENT way! And the (physically ) dead do know what we are thinking. So I think Steve Strange has been in your thoughts, because he knows you appreciate his ideas! I've also noticed such things in my own life .My last car was fairly huge, and I sensed that my late Dad thought it was a really good car, and that my late Mum thought it was too big!
