Another top quality production Jonny! We have a vaderstad carrier with a bio drill seeder that we have to manually turn off and on but ours doesn't beep like yours! Touch wood iv only had 1 bare strip over the few years we've had it. Be interested to see the result of your fine work.
Hi Jonny, I bet the tractor looked forward to a good bath after this lol. Great placements with the GoPro, good to see from the different angles what's going on. Hope you're keeping well as always, take care mate :)
You say it's not your best work but for someone like me who has never used this type of drill it has been a brilliant (and well put together) series of videos all done in your own personal style. Considering the time of year and that your own harvest cant be that far away it is a blessing to get any videos from you at all. Family time then work then Social Life (whats that?) then videos hahah :)
Good video How many seasons do you keep your grass down for before you plough it out ? What’s the weight grass seed bags we use to get ours in great big hessian sacks use to take two of us to lift them.
Thanks Robert! I tried so many times to get that shot... the dust kept obscuring the camera. So I had to go super slow in the end, but when your going slow not much seed comes out. It was a catch 22 situation lol
not sure if you guys cares but if you're stoned like me during the covid times then you can watch all of the new movies on Instaflixxer. Have been binge watching with my girlfriend recently xD
You ought to see it now pete.....it looks like a Fiat.... exactly the same colour! Lol You’ve got to used to playing with Marshall’s...there CNH machines don’t do oil leaks.... They do oil explosions lol
Jonny your awesome love the vids I lo e everything about your channel thank you for taking the time to do these vids I know it's not easy this time of year so thankyou loving mate
Thanks James! It’s lovely for me to hear that! I’m so glad you like my stuff! It’s been a really hectic year with all this crazy weather we’ve been having and it’s been a struggle to get videos edited and uploaded. Thanks for understanding my mate :)
I have really come to enjoy all your vlogs Johnny. Keep it up your a natural lol I wanted to ask you, what breed of sheep does that farm you work for bring in? I used to raise a well known British breed of sheep. My uncle has always been an advocate and owner of the Lincoln breed. Of course he raised them for the wool spinners. Here in the united states course wool is quite frowned upon. I guess it's not politically correct to have anything but super fine wooled sheep. But we always liked to be a little different from the norm lol we even raise Scottish Highlander cattle as well. Anyway I hope everything continues to go well for you and God bless you and your family.
Yes Jonny is back boii's I know your busy jonny this time of year, and after everything that has gone on in your personal life, I know its hard for you to get videos out, but please please please please please can you try to get more videos out I need my jonny fix M@x
It’s never really been an issue for us. We have got a small amount on the stronger land, but it doesn’t seem to like the black, peaty light land. So it’s not really a problem for us. Fat hen and thistles are our biggest problems
Donald Duck1388 the best Waddler on youtube lol. great set of video's Jonny and thanks for your efforts in getting them out its clear these took a lot of your time up.
Great video once again mate! That voice over made me chuckle 😂 i would go with a strut rather than a waddle ha ha it's getting a bit worrying now the lack of rain ! But we just got to ride it out keep up the great work regards Matt !
Thanks Matt! Haha! I’m glad you said strut... I was trying to get my swagger on for the camera but i ended up looking like a constipated penguin lol It is getting worrying, especially for the livestock boys, their already feeding their winter feed in July! It’s madness
Now now Rees...what would an organic farm need a fert spreader for? Lol 😂 I know people who’ve done it, and it works well but we don’t have a fert spreader so it’s not an option for us really. That drill is used for all sorts during the year. It’s makes a nice job to be fair :)
Jonny 1388 would of thought you can get a cheap fert spreader cheaper than one them drills, less maintenance 😉 and you can use it in winter to spread salt 😏
It’s incredible JJ, I’ve never known it this dry, the cracks in the ground are Massive, when it does rain it’s going to take a lot of water to get the moisture back in the soil. No we haven’t started yet, another week/10 days yet I think. 80% of our crops were drilled in the spring
I know!! Who made those tractors so long! Don’t they know fat people like me struggle to walk that far!!?! Haha 😂😂 I found the voice over button on the editing software... there no stopping me now! Il be doing the voice over for Eurovision next year...just you wait! Lol
Just you watch your self lad, its a big bad world out there when you leave the cab, ive fallen into one of them crack in the groun this week😩. Oh hell, you'll be singing in the next eurovision then!
If I could give you some sort of a super like for your video, I would. I've thought about working in Britain, alltho I live in Finland so it's kind of a big step to go work abroad. We've had some rain after the month long unexpected dry season, buuut it's dry like in Sahara again.. +30c... Everyone's worried that animals won't have enough food for winter, because silage yield is really bad. But hey making dry hay is easy for once! Have you got an instagram account? I would love to follow you.
Another great video. I have a go pro that you are more than welcome to have, you could use it for outside shots? Just give me a shout if you would like it.
Thank you so much my friend! That’s so kind of you!! I’ve just ordered another one, but if I break them both il certainly be takin you up on your offer lol Thanks again for offering dude, that’s properly generous of you :) means a lot to me :)

You ought to see it now pete.....it looks like a Fiat.... exactly the same colour! Lol
You’ve got to used to playing with Marshall’s...there CNH machines don’t do oil leaks....

Do you struggle much with black grass on your land
It’s never really been an issue for us. We have got a small amount on the stronger land, but it doesn’t seem to like the black, peaty light land. So it’s not really a problem for us. Fat hen and thistles are our biggest problems
We have just started to find black grass on our land and they say on average a black grass plant has 10000 seeds
When you start looking at the seed count and how long they are viable for, it gets very scary, with all types of weeds too.
Yes a black grass seed can lie dormant for 5 years
To try and sort it we are not going to sow the bad patches but make a seed bed so the black grass grows then we will spray these areas with roundup
Donald Duck1388 the best Waddler on youtube lol.
great set of video's Jonny and thanks for your efforts in getting them out its clear these took a lot of your time up.
Keep this up mate what a nice video love the commentary take it easy
Thank you! Really glad you like what I’m doing! Means a lot to hear it :)

Thank you Carl! :)
Have you tried fertilisers spreading the seed onto the field then power harrowing it in?
Now now Rees...what would an organic farm need a fert spreader for? Lol 😂

Another awesome video Jonny the wife would like to know where about you are from
Very very dry! Have you started with harvest yet?
It’s incredible JJ, I’ve never known it this dry, the cracks in the ground are Massive, when it does rain it’s going to take a lot of water to get the moisture back in the soil.
No we haven’t started yet, another week/10 days yet I think. 80% of our crops were drilled in the spring
Jonny 1388 Definitely! Would be interesting to know how deep the cracks are over with you to compare with what we have in Herefordshire in the West.
Are you gonna do a video about the giveaway?
If so when?
Hope its not that much of question you need to answer
It will be my next video :)
It’s not too hard, the answer is in one of my videos :)
Thank you
You think about using the big amzone 😂😂
As you walk back to get a bag, you could do a little skip and a jump to make it better viewing, lol
What’s your farm you work on
If you squint really hard you can see the name on my shirt lol
It’s called Pollybell organic
Jonny1388 on gogglebox 😂😂
Another great jonny1388 production! The voice over didn't half make me chuckle, and who put that seed bags so far away from the seed hopper?!😂
I know!! Who made those tractors so long! Don’t they know fat people like me struggle to walk that far!!?! Haha 😂😂
I found the voice over button on the editing software... there no stopping me now! Il be doing the voice over for Eurovision next year...just you wait! Lol
How many workers does this farm currently employ and how many hectares are being processed?
Just you watch your self lad, its a big bad world out there when you leave the cab, ive fallen into one of them crack in the groun this week😩. Oh hell, you'll be singing in the next eurovision then!

Hi Jonny I got my new mod I have gone for a smok alien in purple and white I enjoy the series of how the grass drill works
They are great mods! I’ve had a couple of aliens. Just be gentle when plugging a charger in, The port is quite delicate :)
Jonny 1388 I got a proper battery charger for the batteries so charge them in it.
That’s a good idea, that’s how i do it too. :)
Good video keep up good work 👍👍
Thank you Trevor! Hope your well :)
Jonny have you both this case 230 yourself ? :D
The machinery/tractors belongs to the farm. But everybody has their own tractor that nobody else really drives. Which is the best way :)
