    Great video, love the explanation of the controls. I realy like tractors and such, but unfortunatly I never realy use them (yeah, a real old 1967 Ford, which ofcourse hasn't got any of those fancy controls :P), but when I see the inside of the cab of a modern tractor I always wonder where all the buttons and switches are for. That's what I realy like about this video, that you explain in general what they do.

    Nice Jonny,
    The “M” button is manual mode. Basically stops the engine and gearbox communicating with each other. Which in turn makes it a conventional tractor. After pressing the button, you need to move the MC controller fully forwards. Then the clutch can be used as you would in a power shift Puma. Your hand throttle and foot throttle then control the engine revolutions and travel speed in accordance to the selected speed on the corner post.
    Loving the vids mate,

      Grandad switch lol.
      I think it also stops any range changing with in the gearbox. (Might be wrong there)
      Been wanting to do stuff like this myself when demonstrating but I haven’t got the balls to do it. Keep it going mate! CASE IH FTW! ;P

      You should do it dude!!
      You always get nice shinny new kit to play with!
      If you could get me a chrome exhaust shield for the 240 I’d even consider giving you a shout out! Lol
      Surly my videos must be good advertising for case IH??
      Lol 🤣🤣😜😜

      @@Jonny1388Na for steep hill country. Give operator full control. Leave it to the computer and you be stuck as they put too much power to the ground. No computer can drive as good as a human when the conditions demand 100%

    Aggression lights - First = Road work, Second = Field/Road work, Third = Purely field work. From CNH Field Test Engineers themselves. We do quite a bit for CNH.

    • @Jonny1388
      @Jonny1388  6 лет назад +2

      Yes that’s right! I much prefer the new software that controls the aggression switch on the tier4 cvx’s. The old software felt a little bit like a “launch control switch” lol it went from old lady crossing the road.... to leisurely jog....to scalded cat lol

  • @alexandros3222

    Great explanation Jonny! I have a maxxum 150 CVX and I wonder if you know how to lift up the rear linkage slowly. I know how to lower it slowly, but i have no idea how to raise it. There is an option to do it by pressing the lift button of the multicontroller 3 times, but there must be a more straightforward way...

      We don’t spread fert tom, we’re not allowed to with it being an organic farm. I know what you mean though, I have the same thing with other implements we use

    Great clip Jonny! I have a 240 2016 I think. When I want to lower the rear linkage I have to give it a quick uplift and then down, this on the lever. If I dont do it linkage go down really slow. May you have an idea why its like this?
    The salesman on Case have no idea what Im talking about.

    • @Jonny1388
      @Jonny1388  5 лет назад

      Hello my mate!
      Do you have to do that everytime? Mine will lower very slowly the first time i drop the linkage, first thing in a morning or whenever I key off the tractor. It's to do with the linkage height sensors learning the position. Bit after that it's fine and will drop at whatever speed I set it too.
      There are a couple of combinations you can use on the multicontroler linkage buttons to make it lift up slowly or lower slowly.
      Sounds a really silly question but what have you got your drop rate set at, under the armrest?

  • @V6weeks
    @V6weeks 4 года назад

    Has anyone found the arm rest in these tractors wobbles about real bad? Is this normal or should they be fairly solid? Thanks

      Haha!! Well spotted!!! My key is pretty worn out so I can take it out the ignition after i start it. I’ve got 100’s of keys on it, it jingle jangles all day if I leave it in. Gets annoying after 5 mins of bouncing down a rough track lol

    • @domclews8704

      haha fair enough! Do all cases have the same key? We have a case maxxum and they key all look the same? and they coded?
