One thing I enjoy about Night Worms is the chance to read books I wouldn't have selected otherwise. I've discovered great authors through this subscription! Plus, who doesn't love getting a surprise in the mail each month?
I do enjoy getting a nice surprise. Even if the books aren’t to my taste in a particular month (and same goes with movies in Horror Pack) it’s nice to find something unexpected in the mailbox.
I just finished the novelization if Godzilla x Kong, it was fantastic! The books have the depth and cohesion that the movies lack. I'm currently reading New Animal by Ella Baxter it's about a mortician who starts to lose it and spirals into bdsm. There's a great short story collection called Evol Roots all about various malevolent and nefarious plants. The complex name reminds me of another book I'm hoping to get to this month called Flights by Olga Tokarczak, which among other things includes a story about an anatomist dissecting himself. Can't wait for your reviews both of those books sound right up my ally.
Interesting. I liked Godzilla x Kong well enough as brain candy, but I didn’t really feel like there was much depth there. I’ll have to check out the book.
@@zachreads couldn’t speak to these ones in particular (or most novelizations for that matter). But especially when the book comes first, it’s going to be better than the movie 99 times out of 100.

All the books are better than the movies (except Kong Skull Island imo)

👍
Did you name your channel after that one Cryptopsy song?
Not familiar with it or them, so no. But I’m not surprised someone else independently coined the same word.
@Phobophile Their vocalist would become an English professor later, so it's probably there in the dictionary somewhere
Sounds like it's time to cancel Nightworms. Garbage collection ad of late. Wonder why?
I’ll withhold judgment until I’ve read them, but I do think I get where you’re coming from.
