Why wouldn’t you modify the existing air intake vent opening rather than make another LARGE hole in the wing? Apologies if this is a really dumb question….
Potentially stupid question, but is there any affect on performance due to the air intake not being in the direction of travel (when going forwards I mean)?
A valid question Stuart, but no, no performance issues at all, it helps the engine 'breath' cleaner cooler air. And facing backwards means rain / splashed puddles etc aren't forced into it as you drive. 👍🚜
I had the same thoughts as to whether the air passing by the opening created a venturi effect which might suck air out of the tube. We need a Part II video with running up and down the M4 at speed (not that it is actually possible to achieve speed on the M4 these days) 🙂
Aahhh Joel good to see you back! I brought a muddy mods snorkel too fitted it myself LOVE IT. Wish I had this to watch for back up though
Warren gave me the 2 inch lift upgraded brake hoses snorkel and winch and under armour all in 1 sitting fantastic work by him fair play
Brilliant video, this snorkel looks great too
Thanks @Tigermoto, glad you enjoyed it!
Nice

Can you go through deeper water now?
Yes 👍 There are some low level electrical bits to consider too, but yes definitely wade deeper and with more peace of mind. 👍
Nice video Joel! Thanks for sharing ! Where did you buy the snorkel ?
Thank you!

Нет,не влияет.влиять может лишь на то,чтоб не собирать листья,дождь и пыль.Нет,не влияет.влиять может лишь на то,чтоб не собирать листья,дождь и пыль.

Okay I get that you want to replace the existing non-waterproof ducting but even so…
