What pristine condition! One of the best looking Cadillacs of the 60's. Last year for a metal instrument panel and a gorgeous one at that. Nice to see some well chosen pictures of Mr. S from the era.
Beautiful presentation. I have this music CD. All of the music on it is great. I never knew what the Eldorado looked like for 1966 until now. I am binging out on Cadillac tonight. I am finding that I like the 2-door coupe best. The sedans just look too long to me, a little out of proportion. I know someone who owned a gold-colored Coupe De Ville. Gorgeous car it was and the ride was amazing. He was a Cadillac man all the way.
Great little production. At last, someone who's got the brains and sensitivity to use the right sort of music and retro visuals that actually suit the featured car.... instead of the all - too - common head banging rock ' n roll they so many clowns insist on using. Haven't heard Walter Wanderley in years.... a very good keyboard guy.
I still think the 65 and 66 Cadillac was the best looking Cad of the 60's. My elementry school buddys Mom won a brand new 65 Coupe deVille playing in a Golf Tournament back in 65! it was a real nice one with a vinyl top, didn't see a lot of those in 65.
this was when cadillac DOMINATED THE LUXURY CAR market. and gm had 50 % of the car market.there NET PROFIT was in the BILLIONS and they made OUTSTANDING CARS back then !!
This car looks identical to a neighborhood car I recall from 1971, which even back then was kept in factory new detailed condition at all times. There were those embossed printed labels that were popular back then directing all passengers that this was a "No Smoking" car.. In 1971, that was nearly unheard of. The color is a match, and being an Eldorado, nearly all options came standard. I'm tempted to wonder if this is the same car. Of course, back then it was only 5 years old and still reasonably new. But aye, that car had presence, as did all Cadillacs back then.
The one I'm trying to buy a Cadillac El Dorado 66 he said the heater and AC don't work when he turn it on nothing no sound it might be the fan Do you think you would know what is wrong and if it is the fan is that an easy fix
Cool Car, I love those reproduction Kelsey-Hayes Eldorado wire Wheels. How hard would it of been for Cadillac to have had a disappearing tops with it's own compartment like the 58-60 continental convertibles did. Have Color coordinated convertible tops for all body colors.& fully color coordinated cars, including the body, the interior & the top.
I am a Cadillac collector too,and emblem collectorI'd delegate the hood badge and retain the stainless hood strip the car needed that and keep the greatest hood ornament they ever made, replace the elder ado base with the fleetwood one keeps the ornament from leaning forward the fleetwood one moves it 1 or 2 mm to the perfect angle. And replace every interior bulb with the led conversions, they are cheap and they keep the plastic lenzez from dry rotting from heat from the old style bulbs use 1 tenth the power ,they won't run the battery down if left on. For daysThe switchback yellow white bulbs in the front turn signals are a must In parking mode they act as helper white lights and when the blinker is used they turn yellow and flash then return to white solid mode In the day they only blink yellow the dot 5 military grade brake fluid conversion is great the whole system has to be cleaned and all rubber reinstalled to each part with 5 fluid and the system will store for decades and not rust internally ,there are a few other overlooked ideas I have as all my. Ars get these upgrades eventually.
Lots of good information...thanks. I have a 66 Brougham identical to the my my family owned and I subsequently drove in High school. Labor of love...lots of memories.

Gorgeous car, clever presentation.
The '66 taillights were the most beautiful Cadillac ever made. IMO

I wonder who has this car.
Simply Stunning!!!!!
99 percent original. The stand-up hood ornament is an add-on from the 1970s.
Can’t imagine what was going through the head of whoever did that.
Don't know but seems to be a devoted and knowledgeable Cadillac Fan.
I’m currently looking for a Cadillac like this if anyone has a really nice example for sale ?
.. THANKFULLY, this car is neither painted black NOR has a black interior!!! ..
What a very nice Caddy !
Btw, what the music in this video ?
Elevator music!
I own a triple black '66 Eldo. I love my car.
