Beautiful presentation. I have this music CD. All of the music on it is great. I never knew what the Eldorado looked like for 1966 until now. I am binging out on Cadillac tonight. I am finding that I like the 2-door coupe best. The sedans just look too long to me, a little out of proportion. I know someone who owned a gold-colored Coupe De Ville. Gorgeous car it was and the ride was amazing. He was a Cadillac man all the way.

I used to love renting these in the Detroit area. Back then, late 80’s, early 90’s, it was surprisingly affordable to rent one to be chauffeured to a concert, airport service to DTW, or a special night on the town. You could relax with your friends, have a few drinks, and not worry about a DUI. it was always impressive to be driven to a favorite night club or restaurant, have the driver open the door for you, all eyes wanted to know, who was in the backseat. Fun times.

What pristine condition! One of the best looking Cadillacs of the 60's. Last year for a metal instrument panel and a gorgeous one at that. Nice to see some well chosen pictures of Mr. S from the era.

Awesome & beautiful example of the "STANDARD OF THE WORLD". Too bad, the engine was barely enough to bring this masterpiece up to high way speeds. Passing on highways required planning ahead, &/or balls. My BROTHER got a new one to insure no more points on his license. Lol. Back when CADILLAC was a CADILLAC. Today, they look very much alike, different concept.
