Honestly I don’t mind staying home in my comfort zone but my hubby likes to golf and hates the cold in CT so I try to not stay stagnant in my comfort and go along sometimes. We bought a house in Myrtle Beach so looks like we might be turning into snow birds but honestly I don’t know if I like the idea of leaving my grandkids for too long 😔. We will see what happens next winter. I know he’s definitely determined not to spend the winter back north. Hope all is well with you my friend ❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏
@stacisrainbownursery7825 I love that u can spot Bubbles! (I'm a homebody too.) I fell on the ice & broke my wrist in two places, so I'm pretty much one handed for quite a while. Ugh. I tried to put new eyes in a doll w one hand & the neck opening was small, & then w/o really being able to manipulate the face really well, I shredded some fingers on the edge of the neck opening. I put on bandaids & didn't give up lol! But I won't do it again lol. I ordered several pairs of half round glass eyes seconds from dollsbysandie, at $15 a pair, & I like them!

Good for you 👍❤️ I will have to check those eyes out ! I always try to use half round or oval and I sweet from the front no cutting just heat the head so you can manipulate it easier . are these for ppl who lost a baby or don't have grandkids? i dont understand why grown women have these dolls. Do they think theyre real? Just trying to see what the attraction in them is...that's all. I stumbled upon this video and can't wrap my head around it. I couldn't watch it all as it is so bizarre.
For some people that is a reason for them to have them but for me and many other collectors it’s the love of dolls that we have always had since childhood and what better than the most realistic doll ever than these! As a child I always searched for the most realistic looking doll , so you can only imagine my amazement when I stumbled upon these! Actually at the time it was my 10!yr old daughter that wanted one and then I myself was hooked! I love them !!! I have always loved baby’s all my life and baby items. It’s the best hobby ever. I have six children and two grandchildren at the moment. Many collectors like myself eventually cross over to also being an artist of this art form. I have now been painting these beautiful works of Art for over two yrs now and selling them. It’s not for everyone and that’s ok.
