if your arms are stiff, you guys should look into the secondary line of action, and opposing curve theory, along with twisting overlapps forshortening and directionality

Well, there's a reason why I can't draw anything without guidelines, it's a must thing you do at the very first whenever you tried to make a sketch ( unless you had huge muscle memories to come in handy ) I always draw guidelines to determine which angle I wanted and it always help me drawing stuff that sometimes can be very complicated

I honestly love your videos and channel. I try my hardest to take notes and listen to what you do! The way you explain it is really simple but hard at the same time. I have been rapidly improving ever since I started watching your videos. I started on the shading and that improved like 40%, then the eyes (10%) and I was honestly having trouble with posing and I was wondering why my characters poses didn't seem right, then I watched this and it helped 100% Thank you a lot for making these to help other artists (like me) who are struggling to make their art look how they want it to be. You inspire and motivate me to push myself and work hard on art and give it my all every time. One day, I hope i'll be good as you!

I feel myself enjoying art more now that I can just use those to make poses rather than want to smack my head on the desk each time
Though there are worries that the anatomy will be forced to follow the model and turn it into a Manga/Anime like drawing rather than the artist's own style

I have a question. (Anyone can answer)
So would it be a good thing if I start drawing 2 sketches and then start drawing the outline?
Cause if you saw one of my videos, you’ll notice that I draw one sketch and then I’ll start drawing the outline.

This will be my foundation into getting better at body poses! I’m pretty good at sketching facial features and have a good understanding of the boys features but putting an entire buddy pose on my own without sketching a reference has been my short coming. This video has defiantly helped me with that. I’ll be practicing in all my free time now

There's a lot of, I wouldn't say misinformation, but a lack of a lot of information. To get poses looking smooth and fluid, you should really strip everything you know about art and just focus on gesture lines and getting the overall flow of the pose before even starting drawing the body. Don't get me wrong, your art isn't bad, it's just really lacking on a fundamental level. Dare I say it, but believe it or not these poses are still stiff. And repetetive. If you wanna learn about gesture and flow, Proko has a few amazing videos on it. Now although it is realism, the fundamental still applies to whatever style you're going for. I myself am an anime artist but it really helped me.
I'm saying this because this information can potentially hurt developing artists looking for advice on poses. Yes, these are pretty pictures, but I don't recommend this to be a reference for studying poses.

    What a great example!
Simple, yet I can understand it very well!
I can refer this as a "starter" before i can continue to learn even more complex poses because at least i know where to start.
