Do an experiment on one piece before you buy it all... the corrugated flex stuff will probably absorb so much of the sound that you won't get a distinct note, or it will be really quiet.
Me and my dad are going to build a tubulum this summer! I sent an email to the address listed on your website a while ago - we were just looking for some advice and help with ours!
Awesome! I just wrote a complete instruction manual, entitled "Build a Tubulum, F-to-F, 2 Octaves": The Kindle ebook is on Amazon right now (www.amazon.com/dp/B07D94GJJF), and the paperback book will be available by June 20 at Amazon (same title). It has all the professional mechanical drawings, etc. See the promo video at ruclips.net/video/VkLdlCXkiAo/видео.html . Thanks!
Where are the bass heads?
Now this is neat! You know.... This would make one hell of a great playground toy!
When I finally build one of these I'm going to use flexible corrugated pipe!
