Alberta Premier Danielle Smith announces early completion of Calgary ring road - December 18, 2023

Alberta Premier Danielle Smith holds a news conference in Calgary to announce the completion of the city’s ring road, 10 months ahead of schedule. One of Alberta's largest public infrastructure projects, the ring road will create more than 101 kilometres of free-flow travel around the city and is expected to reduce traffic congestion.
She is joined by Mayor Jyoti Gondek, as well as provincial Transportation Minister Devin Dreeshen and Calgary-Lougheed MLA Eric Bouchard.
