Some say the shiny side goes to the heat side when using. Others say there is no wrong or right side. I’m on the side of there is no wrong or right side. I make reversible items and both sides work so to me there is no wrong or right side.
They both are easy to sew with. Insulbright can withstand heat up to 400 degrees so I always include them in pot holders and such. Given the heat of the iron I thought Insulbright would be good for this project. Batting is an added bonus to me for this one. Once the project was made you can’t tell if it’s Insulbright or batting underneath or both. Works perfect! 😊
Love this kind of creativity. Could also be used as a side table in general when sewing. Thanks for sharing!
Absolutely!
What a fantastic idea! I will be making one this weekend…and I already have everything I need to make this. Thank you 🙏
I have my wool mat on mine. Love this, the fabric is perfect!
I haven’t thought of putting mine on there too. I just might now! 😂
Love this! Thank you for the idea!
Glad you liked it! Hoping to do more soon!
Love it. Thank you for doing this video
You’re welcome! Thanks for watching!!
I love the intro!!! ❤
I need to make this. I have a wool mat I set on the top but it moves and is too small. This is ideal. Thank you!
Do you have the Insulbright in your shop? Coming to Clayton next week hope to stop by the shop.
Yes we do!! We are looking forward to your visit!!
Genius 😂😂😂😂
Is there a right or wrong side to Insulbright?

Do you sell the ironing board station fabric?

We do not have any more of that fabric.
Do you notice a difference with the insulbright vs just batting?
