Thank you for this video. I was so happy to see you cook your onions with the ground beef everytime I see a video and they cook the onions separately or season at the end I cringe. All those flavors need to cook together for full flavor. Definitely will be trying some of these
I make mongolian beef all the time, never thought of adding noodles, great idea. The potato parboiling is also good, I'm going to use that tip for sure.
Here's a simple recipe I came up with years ago just using what I had on hand.. Brown a pound to a pound and a half of ground beef with half a large onion, diced. Drain then add a can of cream of mushroom soup. In another skillet., prepare a box of beef rice a roni according to package instructions but add some fresh broccoli flowerettes to the water and simmer as usual. After rice a roni is done, add meat mixture and stir to combine. Salt and pepper to taste and serve from skillet. I gave this recipe to a friend who hates broccoli and used frozen peas instead. It was just as yummy. This was my son's favorite meal growing up.
