Great vid! I am wondering, how to get the RUclips icon when you go to export. When ever I click the "save to RUclips and Facebook" button, it saves to computer, but doesn't go directly to RUclips? Help anyone?

Compression on my computer (Macbook air 2020 with Intel Processor) doing faster vs best quality is a huge difference in the time it takes to process. About 3x the time it takes.
Nice explanation and guidance video. Didn't know the Compress "Faster" meant to export it faster without better quality, so trying the "Better Quality" now. 👍🏻
For years (since the “theater” setting in iMovie) I’ve been sharing videos to theater and uploading them to RUclips that way - takes about 2 hours each time, for 10-15 min videos... didn’t realize sharing it as a file would make such a difference. I always thought that was not the move - thanks so much! What do you think of iMovie theater, does anyone else use it I feel like so much of my time has been wasted, ha!? 😭

As of late, I notice we can’t upload directly from ipmovie to RUclips anymore. It’s kinda weird. Seems you have to save to your phone and then to RUclips 😞

I noticed that the second option you talked about at 6'48" has changed with later versions of iMovie. I followed along with you and saw my iMovie ver 10.2.4 only includes the following for exporting to RUclips (which is now RUclips & Facebook when you click on the Share icon): Description, Tags, and Resolution. There is no requirement to connect your RUclips channel, to select a Category, or to mark the video Private/Unlisted/Public. For reference, today's date is 7.22.2021. Kitty
Thank you for this! I recently updated imovie and now I don't see the option to directly upload to youtube, even when i Select youtube it makes me save in my desktop. Is that due to the recent movie version?
When I'm at uploading, my only two available resolutions are 540 and 720. Why?I just looked at my camera settings, its on 1080 p at 30 fps. It's an iphone 10. Great video.
