Nitro thank you for making this video. Very helpful to know to sound of good and bad on both ends. I’m running a 10th scale Traxxas truck but still very helpful for figuring it out as a beginner who had no clue what I was doing a month ago

You know I can smell the nitro fuel been awhile since I’ve owned a nitro I got tired of the tuning issues but I love the sound.I still have RCS just electric now ……

Good video I was surprised about low temperature with you running so lean but I thought about it and I didn’t know outside temp! Did you set your idle gap before running? I noticed today my rtr started running lean today in the cold weather today alittle turn was back running really good! This info recently really helped me get in tuned well! I believe I struggle most with low end until watching several different people online like JQ and others! I see this info being really helpful to me as I move forward

10 years since I rebuilt 3 different nitros for a friend .. I now cannot remember what is right lol... Starts like butter.. very low speed/torque at low range like takes a bit to get going buuuut once it's up to run temps it gets maybe 1/3 throttle hits peak and wants to take off however backed of as it doesn't quite sound right and I really don't wanna blow it haha . On 4th tank been trying to gentle go through the ranges .. but damn If I'm not confused as hell haha... What you said is fine .. but comparison to the sound of yours I can't tell if I'm over doing it or under doing it haha

it can but only if u live in a state were the temp and humidity changes rapidly but for the most part it woent u may have to tweak the needles a tic or 2 nothing to major
Hey bug..I've been dabbling in nitro since I raced rc10gts took 20 years off. Now back in it heavy. I've got a repinched o.s .21vzb v-spec. That I'd love to smash with a sledge hammer.lol low speed needle extremely touchy 1/8 turn and it will flood complete out till fuel coming out of carb. 1/8 lean and it want to run like crazy and get to around 240 fats and shuts down won't start till you flood it again...idk lost I'm thinking the re pinch job was done wrong or maybe a air leak somewhere but I've triple checked everything any thoughts from you would be appreciated?
Could be bad carb orings bad air leak or as u said pinch done wrong
@@NitroFreak I'll give carb o ring a look .the motor came to me in pieces has ridiculous compression almost feels like to much have to heat it up pretty hot or bump box will just spin wheel on flywheel.

I can't get my losi 8 buggy to idle without the glowplug heater on it. I mess with the low end needle but still won't idle
Bad glow plug will do that
